actualy in the very end Shadow knocked sonic down so sonic wouldnt be lost, in the american version shadow is lost yet again to the chaos control, in the japanese after everyone is talking about how they wll keep going u see shadow putting a flower on molly's grave sight showing that he is still alive (molly is a charater soly to sonic X in the japanese rendition her ifghter is oblirated with her in it)

When I first saw him I thought the same thing until I did more reaserch. Sonic has more power than Knuckles and the only one who could beet Sonic would be Shadow, but he has still yet to prove it.

well sonic soedent have much strength but his speed mainly gives him most of his strngh because if you notice that if sonic trys to kick or punch someone or something he always run for a minut or 2 to build up speed
