  • McGuinty seems fantastic.

  • @Corn8Bit totatlly, he's a pretty ok guy i think. Hudak was a slimy man

  • can i get an effing refund on all the tuition i've been paying?

  • These debates are too civil. Why don't McGunity, Hudak, and Horwath just hold hands and cuddle and be done with it?

Mulroney vs. Turner, 1988. Now THAT was a debate.

  • @leafyutube Totally Agree!

  • lol dalton likes making sqares with his hands, and increasing taxes

  • Paiken looks like Lyle Lovett

  • McGuinty said no taxes last time. Four new juicy taxes? Liar. $10,000 dollars per immigrant hired. Good luck getting a job when an employer gets that for hiring someone who hasn't earned their way like everyone else before them had to do. Anybody but Daulton people. If you vote Daulton back in then suck it up you get what you deserve.

  • Tim Hudak is an intelligent man. The guy has a masters degree in Economics. He knows his stuff. I want to become an electrician and i feel that Mcguinty is not offering anything beneficial to the skilled trade work force.

  • 0:24 DEEEERRRRP

  • Hudak should win this debate

  • Dalton McGuinty keeps interrupting, what a sac. Also all this crap about creating jobs. I think we all know how the government runs their own businesses like the TTC. Like shit. Just give the breaks that Hudak promises and the jobs will come. I seems Hudak is more of an economist.

  • There should honestly be a facts checker in this debate. Hudak says "you cut 300,000 jobs" McGuinty says "Ontario created more jobs than all of Canada combined"

DAMN IT!!! NOW I HAVE TO SEARCH GOOGLE FOR AN HOUR TO SEE WHICH ONE IS LYING

  • @thespursareadynasty I really wish we had something like factcheck (dot) org, ugh seriously, I almost want to start one myself lol

  • @thespursareadynasty Both are true depending on when you count from. The number of employed and unemployed have fluctuated wildly in this recession. The Liberals only look at the plus side, Conseratives only at the negative. If jobs is your major issue, I'd vote for the one who you think is the best at keeping job numbers high.

  • Voting NDP this time around.

  • @jmzimmerman1984 I was surprised at the quality of Andrea Horwath's answers, I'm not finish watching the debate but I'm starting to think the NDP may take Ontario in a good direction.

  • The only ppl who r supporting Andrea(Career politician) is the media.

The canadian media goes into a frenzy when a woman stands up in elections.

Mcguinty has done a fine job of taking care of Ontario.

  • @TimeGod12 credit your source, asshole

  • McGuinty should write a book on how to bullshit. It would be a bestseller.

  • Lower corporate tax to create jobs??? You must be kidding! I wondering are there any people who still buying on this argument?

  • @keeperlink You clearly don't know the basics of how an economy is run. I honestly don't have the time or patience to try and educate your ignorant ass. So until you read a book on rudimentary economics or any type of basic book keeping please don't make empty comments on things that are clearly beyond your mental capacity.

  • @keeperlink Lowering corporate taxes keeps jobs. I was laid off this July, by a company in Cornwall, ON that has operated for 10 years. They couldn't afford to keep running in Ontario, so they moved to the Phillipines. The same company also had to leave Regina and Sault Ste. Marie. What's there not to understand? If a corporation is getting taxed out the ass, they're gonna move to a third world country where they can operate for a third of the cost. Duh

  • Provincial politics are so boring. No wonder people don't bother voting.

Hudak clearly won the debate though.

  • @hardon70 the only reason you think that is because McGuinty knows he has no chance and Andrea only had the second half of the debate to talk.

  • I wanna see McGuinty talk with his hands tied

  • im not saying its all sunshine and apple pie.... oh dalton u crack me up!

  • Vote for Tim Hudak, we can't afford to keep dalton mcginty

  • @tucker12435 aren't they the one who sold 407 and make us all Torontian suffer from traffic jam? I don't think we can risk having PC in the parliament again, at least not this time...

  • @tucker12435 tim hudak will cut everything, vote some else not liberal, conservative, or ndp

  • I want McGuinty's new green plan, but he failed to let young people get into the good jobs. Tim Hudak is same as the rest of the conservatives and nothing will be done in that government besides cutting tax. The lady in NDP does make a point, but the business will be more scared if the socialist take power and there will be even less jobs. Btw, where is the Green party?

I can't afford cable as well, thanks for posting this online so I can decide who to vote for.

  • @kelvinary I think the green party has no seats in ontario so they were not included in this debate

  • McGuinty is so disconnected from reality. Ryan wants to be an electrician. He doesn't need to know that Ontario wants to prioritize on green technologies. HELLOOOO???

  • every vote counts! even if you're MPP doesn't win their party still receives 2$ per vote for future elections! Get your lazy ass out and vote!

  • HUDAK HAS BOTOX!!!!!!

  • Tim Hudak is either singing the song of jobs of business / apprenticeship... as if everyone in Ontario worked in it... sorry, but i do not work in the business field and WANT TO START hearing from politicians about creating jobs in the field of human services!

  • McGuinty is a master bullshitter. He makes lying look easy. He should write a book on how to bullshit.

  • @epitomeOS yes it is the liberals you look at the last elections, if anything the GTA will be ndp liberal split while north will be PC. And PC or liberal winning the minority. You go ahead and vote NDP even though they have no chance to win in your riding, if they have a chance then by all means vote for them. But some unknown NDP candidate will not make any suprising upsets here sorery. This isn't quebec where we vote for a waitress with no qualifications. But you go ahead and vote for her...

  • i'll vote for anyone besides dalton mcguinty... i cant stand any more taxes!

  • @00Dilinger By your same reasoning...if those people who had flopped from Liberal to PC had stayed liberal or at least flopped to somewhere else, anywhere else, NDP would have been official opposition or more.

  • @00Dilinger By your same reasoning...if those people who had flopped from Liberal to PC had stayed liberal or at least flopped to somewhere else, anywhere else, NDP would have been official opposition or more.

  • I find it funny how Hudak mentions that students are having a big problem with debt and yet when asked he was in favor of more student loans.

  • I wish McGuinty would stop waving his arms around like a crazy monkey. And Hudak seems so creepy I wouldn't be that surprised if he were a paedophile.

  • I'm a liberal voter in this election (so far) but have to get the slight win to NDP leader in this segment. I really like her point about rewarding companies that invest money in training their employees. Slightly annoyed that Hudak places blame instead of offering solutions that make sense (however I don't know much about this 'apprenticeship program idea... any trades out there have an opinion on this?)

  • notice Hudak is wearing a purple tie...representing his alma mater University of Western Ontario!!!

  • Man why does Canadian debate and politics suck? So boring! I watch all the Republican debate in U.S that is going on and they are so interesting.

  • @afg96 That's the way its supposed to be. We don't do a billion dollar circus act where we shout "Let him die!".

  • @afg96

Canadian political debates always censor any discussion on socially controversial issue. For example, Tim Hudak was opposed to teaching children about sex education (involving homosexuality, and transgenderism) why isnt there any discussion on this in the debate? They all acted like they are so above that, but they are not.

  • @darksideofthenation Yes you are right, I agree with you on that.

  • Dalton is free rapping? A conservative leader who want to cut corporate taxes to create jobs is bitching about low wage part time job? LOL Priceless. NDP is right on when it comes to job creation. Dalton is a liar.

  • @darksideofthenation Except you don't create jobs by increasing the minimum wage to $11/hr (and eventually a "living wage") and by increasing the corporate tax rate to 44%...

  • @fiveonenine68 NDP aren't increasing the corporate tax rate if you read anything about there plan at all. They are putting the tax rate back to where it was and reversing what Harper did stupidly and unnecessarily. The tax rate is still way ahead of many contries and very competitve even compared to the states....especially with our strong economy. Rewarding companies investing in our economy is the right way to create jobs.

  • hudak is an ugly fuck

  • Loving all these 5 point job plans.

  • OMG Listening to this snake bob and weave when he has wasted $27B out of a $130b taxpayer funded system is like you wanted to be Donald Trump and say you are fired. He avoided the training issue, the Samsung deal handout (kudos to Horvath but Hudak needed to fry his rear end on his Green Energy Act and his environmental legislation that has absolutely killed our resource sector in the north watch Pakin's TVO segment from a year ago on this if you dont believe me

    Rob Cameron

    TEA Party

  • Sunshine and apple pie?

  • NDP all the way!!!!

  • What I have learned about the conservatives is that even though the outwardly and blatanly disregard policies and 1/3 of people out there expect it and dont care, the other 1/3 put it down to inexperience and little mistakes. If liberals or NDP erred in any way they would be thrown out and a new election would be called. Love the double standards.

  • NDP all the way!!!!

  • GO CONSERVATIVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Also why did McGuinty steer the conversation towards green energy technologies?

  • @bdirknoel1077

Doesn't McGuinty look like Tony Perkins aka Norman Bates? haha

  • @bdirknoel1077 Because many people and economists believe this is the next economic bubble.

  • Watching this, I feel like I would be an idiot to not vote NDP. Andrea Horwath is the clear winner here. I liked her jab at McGuinty and Thunder Bay!

  • Did he actually just invoke David Suzuki? Man, this guy is out to lunch!

  • I think Andrea is calm and piosed and has a good vision, but is she ready this time ? Hmm mabey next time, I'm leading towards Dalton

  • Tim Hudak is one slimy man

  • @Freethinker12341 McGuinty can't stop looking at his notes! He doesn't have an organic defense of his policies; He's just sailing the political winds of the new (non-existent) green economy, which is disastrous public policy.

  • @tittelp lol what i've learned about conservative people is that they'll attack liberals for the absolute stupidest little things, they'll nitpick and find anything. Probably because deep down they secretly know that their policies are not based on anything factual or evidence based but they'll never admit it to themselves. An intellectually honest person will argue with logic, reason and evidence-based arguments.

  • @tittelp Someone who's not intelectually honest has no basis for their arguments thus need to resort to alternate ways of arguing: a hundred friggin attack ads ( clearly designed to sway naive, uneducated voters), not to meantion emotional reasoning, superficial charm, strawmen, bullying, nitpicking. The anit-Obama, and anti-Hillary people are the worst for it in the US. Your attacking Mcguinty because he was using his notes?!? haha! Have some self respect in your arguments, please....!

  • @Freethinker12341 What's slimy about him? He's the clear winner in this debate.

  • @Gizmou07 lol winner? is there really a winner. its all just partisan bullshit and lies from every side. i support mcguinty because he fits my ideology the most out of the three, but even the liberals can do more. political parties are all warped and sucked into the competing, the pleasing to get elected. All I know at the end of the day is its liberalism/social democraticism that I adhere to the most. The NDP sucks though. They serve the cons incredibly well by stealing liberal votes.

  • @Freethinker12341 If your ideology is of liberalism/social democratism then why are you voting for a party that wants to lower corporate tax rates and keep the energy sector private? The Liberals may as well be PC's the only difference between the two is that McGuinty wants to invest in green energy (good idea) and fund a long list of new social programs (bad idea until the deficit is reduced. We don't have to stop old programs like Hudak suggests but making new ones with magic money is stupid)

  • The Green Party does not hold any seats in Ontario, therefore they were not invited to the debates. The same thing happened with the Federal Election.

  • Damnit I could substantive debate each and everyone of these leaders better than any one of them could...

  • What about the Green Party ?

  • @CypressPhotoStudio the NDP, Liberals, and the conservates are the main politcal parties.. that's what i think.

  • McGuinty needed to provide more concrete examples, like Toyota's electric car plant in Woodstock. While having a small idea with the apprenticeship modernization, Hudak's pay huge amounts later for lower taxes now scheme does nothing to help jobs. The US has been doing this for years and it has failed. Only McGuinty has the courage to invest in jobs and infrastructure and pay less now.

  • hahaha mcguinty just said he LOWERED taxes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's lying AGAIN!

  • @chad071981 he did...after his first election and raised taxes like crazy, he lowered property taxes a little after the last election and gave us the hst instead...lol...gotta love mcguinty...NOT

  • Wow..just watch Mcguinty school these guys. If Ontario is crazy enough to believe that Hudick or Hogwath will be better for Ontario while providing NO numbers to support their ridiculous ideas, then god help else all. It's the Rob Ford thing all over again...gravy train this and that with NO numbers and now, after spending 8+ million on consultants, it's cancel snow removal for seniors and sell the T.O Zoo..0_o

  • @InsideOUT37 Your guy spent the piggy bank. All of it.

  • @1thru9atoz ...anything he spent was to try and save jobs and help the families of Ontario. If you have ever seen him with his family, YOU would know that. Regardless of what happens in this election, Premier McGuinty has always tried to do the best thing for Ontario. Look at the Automobile industry...400,000 jobs. People wanted to kill him for helping them and now look. Hudak said 10% growth is " not that good "...maybe he should go visit Greece, Portugal or Italy.

  • Thanks for posting so quick! I'm voting by mail this election and the debate was so late.
