so why do they both end up in jail? Tyrone was skipping bail, but Harry wasn't. And there wasn't much drug in their vehicle either so... what happened? is anyone familiar with south carolina's laws on the matter?

Harry's mother, Sara was put into a mental institution due to her sanity after visiting a TV studio cause of her obsession with being a star and weight loss. Harry was sent to the hospital due to many "drug" injections in his arm, causing him to loose it. Tyrone was sent to jail when he came with Harry to the hospital cause both skipped bail. Now dealing with hard labor and drug withdrawal alone. Marion love to Harry gone, becoming a prostitute

Harry bailed Tyrone out of jail, so I can understand why Tyrone was sent to jail (he was skipping bail), but Harry had never got arrested before, (he was dealing too, but he never got caught!). I just don't understand why Harry got arrested in the end of the movie.

Always wanted to watch this movie. So last night i smoked a bowl and pressed play....1 hr and 40 mins. later i was a changed man. This movie has a lot to deal with drugs, but its so much deeper than that....I loved the emotion and friendship and love throughout the movie. Personally speaking, I am addicted, and using was so beautiful and fun and a great escape for like 4-5 yrs and now I am stuck in a self-imposed prison. I am 26, I have a very decent functioning brain, but drugs will and have fuck everything up. Except for marijuana to be totally honest and beer. Not everyone becomes an addict/alcoholic.

This movie was so beautiful. I, in my whole life, have never done drugs( nor will I do them) yet this movie helped me feel what the characters were feeling. I felt their "joy" when they were high but I also felt their loss and pain. Once the credits rolled, I began to cry for the characters as well as those who use drugs to escape reality or to help themselves in a way that doesn't help them at all. This movie was art and I wish that it would be considered decent for schools. It would help many.

After we watched the movie, the whole class felt .. lets say aweful, not because the movie is bad (its awesome), but because we all felt horrible for the characters in the movie. that's why i don't even touch normal pills. I'm 19 and i didn't take as much as even 1 aspirine pill. Truth is that most of the things that can happen to you can be avoided with a correct lifestyle and correct diet. And I'm just your average not too reach or athletic person.

@Qazar01 yes, it is a nice movie for people who take drugs. because if a person was high while watching this, they would realize it doesn't last forever. and if they were previously on drugs, they would watch it and realize that it makes them sick, or it makes them crave, or it makes them FEEL something OTHER than the drug. there is more than one point to this movie, it just depends on how deep you want to look.

so why do they both end up in jail? Tyrone was skipping bail, but Harry wasn't. And there wasn't much drug in their vehicle either so... what happened? is anyone familiar with south carolina's laws on the matter?

@onepack Well, their addiction led to their demise. Harry's mother, Sara was put into a mental institution due to her sanity after visiting a TV studio cause of her obsession with being a star and weight loss. Harry was sent to the hospital due to many "drug" injections in his arm, causing him to loose it. Tyrone was sent to jail when he came with Harry to the hospital cause both skipped bail. Now dealing with hard labor and drug withdrawal alone. Marion love to Harry gone, becoming a prostitute

Harry bailed Tyrone out of jail, so I can understand why Tyrone was sent to jail (he was skipping bail), but Harry had never got arrested before, (he was dealing too, but he never got caught!). I just don't understand why Harry got arrested in the end of the movie.

Always wanted to watch this movie. So last night i smoked a bowl and pressed play....1 hr and 40 mins. later i was a changed man. This movie has a lot to deal with drugs, but its so much deeper than that....I loved the emotion and friendship and love throughout the movie. But hated the end when nothing really worked out and everyone ended up by themselves...all-n-all 10 out of 10 rating

@GreshamOU the ending was like that because in the end all you have are the drugs and even the drugs turn on you. This movie was really great. Personally speaking, I am addicted, and using was so beautiful and fun and a great escape for like 4-5 yrs and now I am stuck in a self-imposed prison. I am 26, I have a very decent functioning brain, but drugs will and have fuck everything up. Except for marijuana to be totally honest and beer. Not everyone becomes an addict/alcoholic.

This movie was so beautiful. I, in my whole life, have never done drugs( nor will I do them) yet this movie helped me feel what the characters were feeling. I felt their "joy" when they were high but I also felt their loss and pain. Once the credits rolled, I began to cry for the characters as well as those who use drugs to escape reality or to help themselves in a way that doesn't help them at all. This movie was art and I wish that it would be considered decent for schools. It would help many.

@Mini2999 Actually, we got to watch this movie in school for a movie-science project, as a warmup. After we watched the movie, the whole class felt .. lets say aweful, not because the movie is bad (its awesome), but because we all felt horrible for the characters in the movie. Its a very "naked" movie, so to speak, you get drawn into it.. And yes, this is art.

that's why i don't even touch normal pills. I'm 19 and i didn't take as much as even 1 aspirine pill. Truth is that most of the things that can happen to you can be avoided with a correct lifestyle and correct diet. And I'm just your average not too reach or athletic person.

@Qazar01 yes, it is a nice movie for people who take drugs. because if a person was high while watching this, they would realize it doesn't last forever. and if they were previously on drugs, they would watch it and realize that it makes them sick, or it makes them crave, or it makes them FEEL something OTHER than the drug. there is more than one point to this movie, it just depends on how deep you want to look.
