The camera is on a Manfrotto 190XPROB tripod with a Manfrotto 700RC2 fluid video head. I think keeping it steady greatly improves the video quality. The borders are different due to different shape video clips to the time of recording. Enjoy!
good point hanz, keeps me in concern wen uploading vids made by the Sony DCR SX40, my first camcorder & done my research before and after buying it; as of now it's enough what I need it for. Good starter camcorder.
To the uploader, do you have the SONY DCR SX40 on a tripod? It tends to shake a lot especially when zooming in when still in a position while capturing without a tripod.Its a lightweight camcorder, so that's anotha reason. But I do love it with all the features I've explored so far.
