  • TOOOOOOOO FAST!!!

  • The Glock trigger learning experience should be a breeze.

  • Thanks for the information!

I'm trying to create an affordable alternative to expensive training simulators for very small police departments who don't have the budget. I'm going to combine this with with LaserLyte, a webcam, projector and some blob tracking software (similar to Johnny Lee's Wiimote), and then you have an expensive training simulator available.

If I ever get the dang thing working, I'll want you guys to do a review!

  • @td84

Sounds like a good project, good luck with it

  • Very informative video. I never knew about the dry fire tricker kit. Most people don't do enough Dry Fire practice because of the extra work of working the slide after each round. This kit will allow you to simulate a full magazine of fire just like real. Very nice.

  • Thank you so much for doing this review. I was thinking of getting this but didn't know the quirks. Do you know if the pull weight is similar? Even though there is no reset it still looks to be very useful!

  • Well there is reset, just not 100% of the normal reset

Trigger pull is determined by the connector, I assume this one used the standard 5#, so if thats what you run then it should be the same

  • What would you suggest in order to develop speed and good trigger control?

  • Basic stuff

Shooting is #1 best way to practice

We try to shoot every week

I did all my initial training with a blue gun or EMPTY 'regular' gun and did dry fire practice

This trigger would be handy too for that

Just don't cheat yourself, if you pull the trigger before you get a good sight picture make yourself wait.

It's not the first one to shoot, it's the first one to hit

What kind of drills / training do you use?

  • Proper grip and watching your front sight is the key to shoot fast. I practice trigger control by putting a piece of empty brass on top of my glock and pressing the trigger, if it doesn't move, you're doing it right. That and lots of dry practice, focus on a target and dry fire the gun, and also practice folllow through by holding your sights on target for a second or 2 after.

  • hmmm. So the type of training you are saying is weapon handling in whatever enviorement the training school decides to set up. Clearing rooms, training novices, weapon handling, movement, demonstration, that sort of thing. I'll practice with it and let you know if you are interested.

  • Exactly

I'd be very interested to know how you like it

Of the people I've showed it to half like it, half hate it

  • I plan to use it to improve my trigger control and speed. This should help right?

  • ehh.. I wouldn't go that far.. it might help, but I would stop short of saying it's the ideal tool

  • Thank you for the video.

  • no problem, good to know someone is enjoying them. Thanks for the subscription

  • I also wanted to say thanks. I bought this one to add it to my training. I was thinking on getting the dummy mags. They are supposed to have the same weight as a loaded mag.

  • They do and in my opinion they are a great combo..

We did a video featuring them both, take a look
