It takes a lot for a dick to admit he is being one spurrit.... I honestly think that was cool of you to apologize for your comments being so freaking rude.....
You're brave shooting a pair of '51's. Big long beast that it is. You should look into a conversion to shoot .38 special or .44 special depending on what caliber they are. Maybe you don't want to spend the money on the guns, but it would be pretty neat to convert them. You need to get after you spotter a little more about the ammunition!
If you go through and stone the sides of your trigger and hammer, as well as the smaller parts, and deburr the corners, you won't hang up as much. You can do all of this with a whet stone, but a piece of emery cloth, about 220 grit, or maybe a little smoother, is real nice for touching up the corners.
Was the hanging up due to broken pieces of caps? Not a hell of a lot to be done about that.
Sorry about the previous comment. I was being a dick.
Hey not to bad bet it helps if your spotter puts the Shotgun rounds on the table before you need them not after eh??As for the rain coat comment no thats some real words of whit there.
From back to front. Maybe people want to keep the COLD WIND off them? And as there were passing showers, what's wrong with keeping it on. Added to that, while it isn't 100% authentic, it's closer than my Nike rain jacket.
I'm sorry I'm not as naturally gifted as you. I do practice. And owing to the fact this was after a full day's shooting, it's hardly suprising my black powder revolvers were giving trouble.

YOU SUCK! Did it even occur to you to practice first? Plus, the Aussie duster really ain't western. As for authenticity, what kinda dumbass wears a raincot when it ain't raining?

the jam in the beginning of the video, caused by a fired cap coming off the nipple and jamming the cylinder from rotating. I hate that.
