Don't be so hard on Bachman, she has a decent conservative voting record and is incorporating a lot of libertarian principles into her dialect. She is moving towards non-interventionism and ending the Fed. Instead of bashing her, you should push to further help her reform her ideas.

There are some great ideas about safeguarding our Constitutional freedoms by limiting government, but Ron Paul's content is all over the place with negativity splicing it all together. He may be writing his own speeches, and this would explain it, perhaps. He and Bachmann need to communicate succinctly and with a good image.

Your State government may support the repeal of the 17th Amendment.
The States have no representation in the Federal government, since Wilson's presidency. How else could so much local money be sent to Federal control? We want a Senate full of State representatives (instead of popularly elected - special interest promoted officials like we have in the House).
Senators appointed by the States will have an incentive to audit the Fed, end wars, and reduce the size of federal government.

Ironically, Germany under their chancellor is more "American" than this country under this imported kenyan manchurian candidate. I'm a gambling man, who will take bets that next year, the US will see, no less, than half a dozen Katrina size hurricanes that will reckon a destruction right out of a Dooms Day Movie.
