The poster of this video is probably one of those old "deaniacs" & "9/11 conspiracy theorists" who are now wild-eyed again and on the Obama bandwagon. You're pathetic. Obama will never be elected. No one like you (far left liberal) should ever be allowed to be president. Just the thought that you would suggest Hillary Clinton supporters would support Pelosi and the DNC just clearly shows that you really have no clue as to what you're talking about. Get out of the house, and get some fresh air.
I get SO sick of hearing Hillaryites whineing about how sexist the Obama campaign has been and how they couldn't get out of the secretarial pool and blah blah blah. I will THANK those women to remember when they couldn't get OUT of that pool, competent black women like me couldn't get IN that pool. We were cleaning the office and Obama was cleaning beside us and would have been lynched in the street like a dog for looking sideways at you.
Note how many Hillary supporters are switching to voting for McCain. It shows how much of a neoconservative Hillary is, and how she attracted that kind of deranged citizen. Modern politics fosters this kind of insane individual, as well as harnessing the existing ones: people who STILL believe that Saddam was a terrorist with thousands of tons of chemical, biological, and nuclear weapons.
Turtleshit, you really need some help. What a ridiculous comment. Hillary a neoconservative? Obama is a far left radical loon, and there is no way some of Hillary's supporters would support such a radical nut and all of his radical associations. Obama's new best friends: McGovern, Hart, Mondale, Dukakis, Gore, and Kerry. They played the part of democratic loser to perfection, until Obama took that prize.
I beg your pardon, but your opinion is- to my perception- completely unfounded. Using wild exaggerations about opponents, making unfounded statements, harnessing fanaticism: these are the hallmarks of Bush neoconservatism.
Personally I support Obama merely because he is so good at negotiating, and presenting ideas, and he is a good critical thinker who will clearly read every bill and order that lands on his desk.
Hillery, like McCain, is a book thinker, she'd presume to ask someone that knows better and just ask one of her other Democrat buddies about the bill, they'd ask their buddies and it would eventually lead back to a lobbyist and it would be politics as usual.
great video, you hit the nail on the head when you said that McCain and Hilary are war-mongers they would advocate for more wars to tell the american people we only can live in fear.We Americans realize we can't live in fear and we need someone to be proactive, war does not make one great,America is great for its leadership(not bullying tactics), courage, love for its neighbor, values, ideals, and its rich history that only made us stronger, those neo-cons days in the white house is coming to an end
If Obama had been in the Senate in 2002,I am not convinced that he wouldn't have felt the pressure to vote for the war as well.
By the above comment, I am just trying to find out if there really is a sustainable difference of improvement between the two primary Democratic candidates.
22 Senators voted against the authorization for force in 2002 - every single one was a Democrat.
Except for Jim Jeffords who was an independent.
BTW: the Democrats in Connecticut defeated Joe Lieberman in the primary in 2006. What happens? Lieberman runs as an "independent" in the general election and stupid people in Conn. vote for Joe Lieberman and continued war in the Middle East.
Segits, there is no question that Obama would have voted for the war if he were in the Senate in 2002. Obama is a populist. Back then the war was EXTREMELY popular. To me though it doesn't matter, he has no credibility on the issue since he was not even there to cast that vote, and instead gave speaches to his loonatic base.
So what? Biden is in there for image - an elder statesman type; man with lots of foreign policy experience. And Biden became increasingly critical of the war in Iraq (while HIllary did nothing but cheer the war on).
I am getting very tired of this silly argument of yours;
the strongly anti-war candidates, Kucinich, Gravel, and even Edwards all bombed in the primary. Obama has more charisma and appeal.
If you don't like the Democrats, don't tell me about it. Start making videos for Ralph Nader or McKinney (BTW most black folk don't even know who she is) and see how far you get. You can even give your money to Ralph Nader and you can watch him lose in November.
I am getting tired of your bully attitude, just because i try to be objective and stay away as possible from compartmentalized thinking. I have shared my comments without disrespect, without any intention of showing favoritism to the Republicans....yet you still feel the need to show some disrespect to my opinions or viewpoint. Perhaps this reflects more about you than me. Perhaps we are tired....but how does rudeness help in understanding each other.
look, if this will make you feel any better, even if i don't think a two-party system, whereas centrally can be even one-party, is not in any way democratically healthy.....but as I recall on the Primary Absentee Ballot I had a "choice only between the two big parties, so i presume the same will happen for this Nov.
You presume wrong. Elections - even federal elections - are run by each state. So the requirements for getting on the ballot vary from state to state.
Where you are registered to vote will determine which people and parties appear on the ballot. In my state, there are at least six(?) parties that always appear on the ballot for president: Republicans, Democrats, Taxpayers, Constitution, Libertarian, Green, (I even believe the Socialists and the Communists are usually on the ballot as well.)
cont. We are adults, so I won't bring up this topic any further; if needs be, I'll go somewhere else where there is more openess, although I'd prefer to remain friends since I see the good in you.
huh? Obama didn't oppose the war in votes, only in words before he could vote. He campaigned against the war, as he is now, but once elected, he VOTED FOR THE SURGE and gave Bush even more money than he asked for (google it!) Obama's foreign policy is WORSE than even McCains in terms of occupations - review his platforms. Obama and McCain aren't 'choices' - they are both nothing but pawns in the hands of the real players, the admistrations and groups behind this global mess.
Correct - Obama opposed the war prior to his elected, and once elected he voted FOR continued war and occupation... review his voting record, as his words during rallies and campaign trips aren't reflected in his votes at all (nor his platform, hardcore review his actual plans for the middle east and the entire globe - Occupation is occupation, even when it's guised as 'keeping the peace.') Also - Obama is just as entangled as Hillary in investments and lobbyist money. Research him more.
Not really. Hillary's money came from big money people in New York, Los Angeles and Florida. Hillary's money also came from Big-shot Friends of Bill. Hillary's money came in illegally from flim-flam con-men like Norman Hsu who was a Hill-raiser (on the run from the law). Defense industry really liked Super-hawk Hillary/dumped lots of money into her campaign.
When Hillary got desperate - she borrowed money
Most of Obama's money has come from smaller donations and from the internet.
A gigantic chunk of Obama's money is from the lobbyists he claims he doesn't take money from - you should really research his investments more, too. It's open information, easily found, and should be considered before supporting him as a candidate - but more importantly, his record of campaigning on one thing and then voting the opposite is a clear indication that he won't, if elected, represent YOU at all. Actions speak louder than words. Don't be fooled by 'hope' - vote on facts.
her campaign a dime. I don't think I could have voted for her... It would have been a difficult choice between two rich, Washington uber insider/ war-mongers. It would have been a sad, limited, choice for Americans (at least "thinking" Americans).
Ole Hillary would have had to throw me a small bone to get my vote.. SOMETHING..
