I find the "fingers of head" measure to be utterly useless an unscientific at best. Different glassware and pouring technique will give you different head. If you have any experience with a BJCP competition or GABF, etc... you'll notice there's no criteria for "fingers of head" because they know what they're talking about objectively. There's head color and retention, but no "fingers". Regardless, I'm drinking one of these now and am enjoying it, but Bamberg is the pimp smoked beer.

Good review as always Mark! Pronounciation was excellent, especially Bryggeriet! If you get the Haandbryggeriet Dark Force an Imperial Wheat Stout, try it!, it is pretty good! Cheers!

So basically it's a burning tree trunk beer with a band-aid on it, lol.

I was always curious about that beer. I'm not too into smokey beers so that's good to know how this beer is. So it's not quite a rauchebier, right? It's just smokey?

No it's not as smokey as a rauchbier. Much more subtle.
