Wouldn't it be ironic if Laura Parker Bowles' (Camilla's daughter) husband had been cheating on her from day one, constantly pursued by a whore unrelentingly? How would Camilla feel about that? Think she'd like it?? I think it would be interesting to see her reaction to a situation that mirrored her own behaviour. Poetic justice perhaps?
@BMXrider750 because it was his 'duty' to procreate, to make an "heir and a spare" with a woman who came from a good bloodline - aristocracy. The rules regarding who a royal can marry has changed drastically since Charles married poor Diana. Royals can now marry "commoners" as they like to call us little people. The Queen would not have allowed him to marry Camilla back when they were young, as Camilla not only was commoner, but also had a very bad reputation for whoring around.
I think prince Charles is often misunderstood and is quite modern. Yes he has made terrible mistakes and the way he handles the whole Princess Diana scenario was wrong. Not to mention Camilla!
But i still believe he does get unfairly criticized at times. He does do a lot of good work for charity. He has modern ideals on global warming, farming, medicine, charity work etc .But he cant win over everyone.
I generally think that he's been made an unfair target of fun by anti-intellectuals; dur-hur-hur, stoopid thinking prince and his stoopid thinking thoughts. I admire the Prince's modern and open approach to other religions. As far as architecture and medicine go, I sometimes think that the press--and yes, sometimes His Royal Highness--take his ideas too seriously.
@Marhaba1973 He's a complete and utter thick idiot! When he speaks, I can't understand a single word the bastard says!! He walks around mumbling as if he's got a mouth stuffed full of God knows what. He is also known to speak to plants, no jest. He's not intellectual, you're confusing his conceited and condescending ways as being "intellectual". Far from it. Of course he's rubbing noses with other religions, he needs all the support he can get and this is just one more way.
As far as I'm concerned Charles is a serious person, his ideas are not odd at all and he's anything, but he's certainly not mad! His ideas about architecture, farming and religion are absolutely acceptable, though not accepted by everyone! He declined being a member of freemasonry and I personally believe, that's one of the reasons, why he's got such a bad press and, above all, THAT kind of bad press!
This is no honest documentary. I am convinced that Britons should be glad to have such a pioneering moral leader. It is really regrettable that those alleged documentaries spread throughout the Internet. A Time will come when you long for a leader as innovative as HRH was.
@RobTheGermanFellow He is NO leader. He is not democratically elected. He and his family are the descendants of Britain's unelected mass murdering dictators. They are not subjected to the British peoples law. They are funded with £millions of British taxpayers hard earned money.
They are a corrupt disgrace bloating themselves at our expense. Justified as being Britain's own Disney Land. 'Leader'.....our arse's.
Indeed, it is up to everyone to cope with ones national history. As a German, I am convinced that our history will influence today's decisions and opinions. But I do also know what it means to have no adequate head of State let alone a moral role model. In Germany there is a president that is elected every four or five years - who cares? No one can really identify with this useless political figure. Finally, this phenomena leads to right-wing extremism in Germany.
@MrJNO123 She's a biographer, so she might know what she is talking about. Her sources might be right or her sources might be wrong. She clearly got the idea that the Queen wasn't the most affectionate mother from Charles himself.
He looks like George Bush

Calling him "mad" is an over-simplification. It goes far deeper and much worse.

So, Charles still wants to be King ??
He was quoted in the past of wanting to be one of Camilla's tampons.
Maybe he can be King of Tamponbury.
