  • @helirazor1 I have a tiger 1 mid production (the white one) and saw a switch covered by plastic under the hatch on the right side of the turret. Is that the volume control?

  • @cheesedude24 You didn't mention whether your tank is Airsoft or Infra Red. I am assuming your tank is the Airsoft model, with an 07 PCB MCU in it, as opposed to the very latest build VS Tank Tiger (which would have the 10 MCU & the new VTX-10 transmitter). In which case that switch is an additional safety measure so you can turn the airsoft gun off to prevent it being accidentally discharged.

On the discontinued Sparkling Series a similar switch served to turn the gun flash on & off

  • @Helirazor1 Is the VStank 1:72 series good?

    Thank you.

  • @hellcatdave1 I am sorry but I cannot help you with an answer - I only collect the 1:24 series

  • ok thanks alot for the information :D

  • I think that i've got the latest Tiger tank. Strange enough becuase i can't find it in youtube XD its the 334. Yours in this video is 211 but ofcourse its a early production no?

  • @LeoVideoReview VsTank are advertising a "Zero Edition" which is stated to be digital proportional. One of the models shown is a Tiger Tank which is a late production Tiger 1 model. This is identified by the steel road wheels (no rubber), low cupola, turret gun mount ring, spare track mounted on turret, & the zimmerit coating on the tank. 334 is shown on the gun. Dunkelgrau (dark gray) ceased to be used from Feb. 1943 so I personally doubt a late model tank would have been painted dark gray.

  • @LeoVideoReview My VsTank in this video (No. 211) is a dark gray (dunkelgrau) early production model. This can be identified by the track mounted on the front of the tank, high cupola, no gun mount ring on turret, two lights at the front of the tank (later models had one center mounted light), rubber on the road wheels, shovel on front of tank, no zimmerit coating etc.

  • @Helirazor1 Would You recommend the KV1 airsoft?

  • @Jaso4444 I only have an Infra Red Version of the KV-1 which I am a little disappointed with. However one of my Tiger 1's is an Airsoft and I am happy to recommend a Tiger 1 Airsoft. Also the Leopard 2's are good in Airsoft.

  • @Helirazor1 Could you show a video of the KV-1 running full speed? Thank you very much, I heard the KV-1 is really slow.

  • @Jaso4444 It is slow - but then so were the real KV-1's. On the plus side this model climbs really well because the weight is down low. Also it is good for Infra Red battles -the shorter gun on this tank does not get in the way when in narrow spaces. If you are after a fast tank in the VSP 1:24 series you need to look more towards the modern day tanks. The Leopards, Abrams and Japanese Type 90 go like rockets!

  • Doesn't the Tiger 1 make too much noise? ive got one and makes a hell of a noise =/. But I love it anyway such of the details and stuff , It doesn't look so plastic like the KV-1 I agree with you in that.

  • @LeoVideoReview The later models, such as the KV-1 and Shermans have a volume control as mentioned in the video. Unfortunately the Tiger 1's do not. I agree that they are loud, but more to the point & this is often raised by VS Tank enthusiasts - they sound nothing like a tank - but more like a kitchen appliance such as a blender or mixer. This at long last is being addressed by VS Tank. The latest mid production Tiger 1, Sherman, & the soon to be released King Tiger have improved sound

  • Thankyou for your videos. I like to research things before I buy them. The local hobby store is expecting an order of the vstank tigers to arrive soon and I will be checking the boxes for the new remote. I agree w/ the comment about the lack of realism though, with the speed of the rc tanks. The forward and turning on the spot speeds are disportionate to the real things. Thanks for the HD videos they are great.

  • @KiTTeNChaoSS Naturally the speed of a model tank is difficult to produce to scale. Even if it were done - that would simply make some model tanks totally uncompetitive against others. If you weren't using an Abrams M1A2 or a Leopard 2 then you would just be a mobile target and a slow one at that :-)

Remember that these tanks, particularly the 'R' Series (Infra Red) are designed to battle against other 'R' Series tanks.

Expecting the appearance to be authentic is not unreasonable though.

  • Hello sir, I have an airsoft VsTank Tiger1 , the track link connection is clip lock which is easy to disconnect . I have not played my tank on grass or dirt yet . How do you think that the link will be disconnected easily? By the way I saw the metallic tracks for the tank, but I'm not sure whether the connections are also clip locks or coupling joints?

    Thanks.

  • @siamyuth My tanks are used indoors, so I cannot comment from experience with regard to the Tiger 1 "on grass or dirt". What I can tell you from experience is that the soft tracks such as what usually comes standard on VsTanks do not work well on carpet or other surfaces where they get too much grip; if they get too much grip they flex and then they throw the track.

The standard hard tracks on the Tiger 1's are metal look plastic tracks which clip together.

  • @Helirazor1 Thank you sir, yesterday I 've been informed from the distributor in HK that the metallic tracks

for Tiger1 are in propuction process and also in the parts list I 've just found metal gears too. I think I might purchase metallic tracks and gears when available.

  • Actually, in my opinion, I really like the new KV-1 battle hit more than the Tiger tank because I'm not really a fan of flashing lights and the KV-1 seems to fit my preference. I also like it because it is slow, I prefer historically accurate tanks and the KV-1 and the KV-2 (especially) were really slow, possibly slower than the Tiger 1. The flashing lights on the tiger 1 is too much for me, I would even prefer not having lights at all, like Tamiya rc tanks. Thanks for giving me an insider look.
