  • great vid and great song this made me a become a buffalo tom fan

  • @Urdoxa on the infamous pyramid you skated there??

  • @TheRalphus666 Reppin Clifton/West Paterson N.J.I seen Weaselbrook Park in one of his Videos also.Does anybody know what happened to Brian Blake???

  • 1st scene Montclair State College in Jersey and 1:15 to 1:25 skatin the pyramid,I remember him skating for Mowad's company and was in the video along with Mike(R.I.P) and Quim Cardona. That was a good team Mark Vasalik(R.I.P) also kicked ass. Those were the good ole days, long gone

  • His 1281 part was the best, i heard he was in a car accident and i think that fucked him up, but who knows. He was ahead of his time knocking out trick after trick before runs were being done.

  • That Japan is SIIICCKKK!

  • anybody know what happentoo him

  • Children of the Sun was a great but forgotten video from 1994. I used to watch this everyday, it was a lot more relatable than Virtual Reality. Knigge ripped.

  • I remember Ron Knigge from Da Deal is Dead and 1281 or was it Useless Wooden Toys? or both? Anyways, really good part. I thought that fakie tre flip to fakie manny was really sick.

  • @DoublePrimo44004 he was in all of those.

  • @coliseum he was in useless wooden toys? i don't remember that. i remember the other 2.

  • @ivahnsean he's near the beginning, right after Armando Barajas

  • Interviewed by none other than Ed Templeton in that April '94 issue. A true Ambassador of East Coast tech!

  • 1:03 how the fuck did he slide that far WITH A HEELFLIP IN and not slip and crack his face omg.......

  • Still one of my fave part. I found out today he is a high class cake decorator. Good for him. You can find his stuff online. I suppose we can't skate forever, although I'm trying;)

  • man i remember this vid from long ago! damm ron was wayyyy ahead ... now we got all these damm tight pants skaters..

  • definitely his best.

  • man this was the first skate vid I bought when I started skating in 8th grade. Brings back memories of skateboarding the stage and hip at Huntington Beach HS...before the cops arrested and took your board

  • at 1:14 you can see the twin towers

  • @plasterskater funny. I thought the same thing. even went rewound to make sure I wasnt trippin.

  • I was born in 91, I wish i lived to see this as a teenager back then, it wouldve been kickass

  • @winston111000999 I agree, this one isn't as cool as his older ones.

  • lol @ the flatground Japan air. I'm gonna have to learn that one now

  • I hear that place is rough

  • man don't you hate the ego's skateboarders have these days? It's just like high school, which sucks cause that's why i dropped out of high school =p

  • i grew up in maplewood / south orange area of jersey and used to skate some of these same spots in the early 90's. I used to skate with Ron and some other locals. He would take us around in his car after meeting at this one Bank in South Orange (its in useless wooden toys and was our SPOT. Used to hang at cheapskates in South Orange also and see him all the time. I went to woodward also... he had the ill style and was a cool dude. I don't skate anymore but i miss the good ole days

  • Where's Ron now??

  • my first skate video mann soo long ago..

im glad someone put this up

    cheers

  • the name of the song is Porchlight by Buffalo Tom

  • Can anybody tell me what's the name of the song and the band please? Thanx

  • I always loved that heel front board at 1:00

  • I loved this video. I watched this video every day for like a year. This was the first video I ever owned. This was my favorite part and watching it taught me how to tre flip.

  • serioudly dude

what school is it at 0:18?

  • i feel that, these years was my big time too.

if you want to know the future look to the past!

  • Too many people are spoiled by watching todays skaters then guys like R Knigge, back then are doin' tricks that are before their time!! It's amazing to see some these guys skating back then! please find more guys like ron knigge who just flows

with that mid to early nineties style!!!! true skateboarding for sure!

  • Love the part, and I actually like the song... Ron was a Woodward dude for a few summers, always fun to hang out with. Tim Brauch and me and Ron were a little crew for a minute there... NEw Deal daze...

  • to be honest with you. if you put together a part today with those exact tricks, same spots, but with todays style, better filming, and song. would be a dope part!

  • I grew up skating with ron and my friend Joe in roseland NJ. We used to skate down to ADP at like 4 in the morning and eat the bagels and food left outside for the office workers before they got there! havent seen him since\

  • his style cleaned up in a year time

  • that's so true.

  • Yeah, once he simplified the equation his stuff was really really nice

  • i remember the boardslide sequence, shame he slammed

  • dude i havent seen this shit in years Ron was da shit i miss the good ol days of skateboarding back in 1993-1994 when it was fun not about competition

  • Man, I had that TWS interview back in the day and loved it, same with this video. Also got me into that Buffalo Tom album, Ron Knigge was awesome.

  • @Mattapooh got my hands on the vid as well back in the day. and the tws. and the Buffalo Tom album! and I managed all that living in Poland at the time! anyway, great memories!
