Of course the demon girl isn't scary now that we've been bombarded with these images, but at the time Exorcist came out, it was something new. The face of the young innocent girl is not usually connected to satan/the devil, but the movie broke that barrier and shocked audiences in its time. Oh yeah, you should learn to argue like a mature grown up. It's a necessary life skill that you lack.
