@jangel2771 God loves you. we always stumble we are living in fallen bodies in a fallen world but God loves us and will always be with us and remember one day we will be before our Lord and Savior eyes downcast, thinking how could we be in the presence of pure light, pure goodness and he will say "lift up your eyes, do not be downcast, you are a good and faithful servant welcome to true peace" and all depression, anxiety, guilt will wash away.

@andrija607 How can you say something like, "I do believe in God and and his Son Jesus Christ." which obviously comes from the bible, but not believe the rest of what it says? Does the bible say that man is to live for himself? Is Jesus even relevant to the unbeliever? Of course they live for themselves, but Christians are not supposed to. As a teacher of mine once said.. even though the change of these miraculous coinsidents to occur is very small, a human ends up in so many situations where these might happen that chances are much higher that one of the coinsidents occur.

There are so many accounts of all that he did. Also, he was prophesied before he was born. If Jesus didn't perform miracles, why would years be based on his birth (AD/BC). Also i use the logic of morality... IF science created the world, where does morality come from...

I think that fact that so many people suffer only proves there is no loving God watching over us. If there is a God, he doesn't care, or is not all knowing and powerful. Either way the bible is wrong. So instead of getting on your knees and asking the invisible wizard in the sky to change this world for the better, you should try to change it yourself.

@mskauffm If God is good, all powerful, and all knowing, then he would have known that Eve would persuade Adam into eating the apple. So since he knew before creating Adam, that Adam would sin, then how is he good to punish Adam for sinning since God made him that way? How could Adam have had free will if his actions and sins were known before he was even created? He can't, because free will is an illusion. Everything we say, think, and/or do is a result of our biology and environment.
@mskauffm Of course you used to be an athiest, that is how everyone is born. We learn to believe in God. It's used to answer questions to which we have no answers (due to lack of knowledge). Also, the reason I ''demean'' your belief is because it's based purely on faith. The same faith that causes Children to believe in Santa Clause. And if there is a god, he doesn't seem to care about us anymore than she/he/it cares about anything else in the universe. So I believe that it falls to us to do good in this world. It's interesting, whenever i read comments on evangelical clips such as this one or Ravi Zacharias, etc., almost always when an athiest/agnostic/evolutionist (a materialist evolutionist to be precise) makes a comment about the clip it is with such bitter rage, such harsh language, profanity, and overall immaturity and unwillingness for discussion (So you were serving in the name of a lie? Actually, now that I think about it, religion is what gives people their culture. It defines how they treat others and what they value. Without religion there'd be no culture and no right and wrong because if you believe in good and evil, that's you're belief in something eternal and a religion. @rubenv88 Well I like to take the more logical and scientific way. That all life was once a dense matter (similar to a black hole), then it became so dense that it just exploded into more matter then human capacity can understand. Then by chance and just plain luck Earth and all that inhabits it came to be through evolution and such. Anything before the dense matter theory is unexplainable to our current knowledge, because we do not have the proper technology yet.

As a teacher of mine once said.. even though the change of these miraculous coinsidents to occur is very small, a human ends up in so many situations where these might happen that chances are much higher that one of the coinsidents occur.

There are so many accounts of all that he did. Also, he was prophesied before he was born. If Jesus didn't perform miracles, why would years be based on his birth (AD/BC). Also i use the logic of morality... IF science created the world, where does morality come from...

@mskauffm If God is good, all powerful, and all knowing, then he would have known that Eve would persuade Adam into eating the apple. So since he knew before creating Adam, that Adam would sin, then how is he good to punish Adam for sinning since God made him that way? How could Adam have had free will if his actions and sins were known before he was even created? He can't, because free will is an illusion. Everything we say, think, and/or do is a result of our biology and environment.

It's interesting, whenever i read comments on evangelical clips such as this one or Ravi Zacharias, etc., almost always when an athiest/agnostic/evolutionist (a materialist evolutionist to be precise) makes a comment about the clip it is with such bitter rage, such harsh language, profanity, and overall immaturity and unwillingness for discussion (So you were serving in the name of a lie? Jesus) it reveals how ANGRY they are in their heart with a God they say isn't even there! it grieves me.

Actually, now that I think about it, religion is what gives people their culture. It defines how they treat others and what they value. Without religion there'd be no culture and no right and wrong because if you believe in good and evil, that's you're belief in something eternal and a religion. Without religion = a world of no culture and no right and wrong which = chaos. So be glad we have religion

Even more so, there is more proof that Jesus lived than there is for Aristotle, Julius Caesar, or Alexander the Great. The reason people don't believe Jesus is real is because He is controversial. @rubenv88 Well I like to take the more logical and scientific way. That all life was once a dense matter (similar to a black hole), then it became so dense that it just exploded into more matter then human capacity can understand. Then by chance and just plain luck Earth and all that inhabits it came to be through evolution and such. Anything before the dense matter theory is unexplainable to our current knowledge, because we do not have the proper technology yet.
