Sigh, so all Razer products have shitty quality?? I'm looking to buy the Razer mamba 4G, megalodon headset and BW stealth.. Should I chose Steelseries instead? Since heaps of ppl are reporting quality issues with Razer products, and I have got told to NOT buy Razer products in forums.. Help me decide please?

Thanks for the videos! I have this problem, one month old w/brown cherry keys. Going to call Razor first for warrenty before I mess with it for fear of voiding it. Good to know when warrenty runs out, plus I will have a spare key if they send me a new one.

thanks so much man. my blackwidow ultimate key "1" was sticking like mad. went and sanded down the top half and now it works perfectly!!!!!!

@Sicknesss me 2! i actually fixed it by accident, i slightly broke the key while taking it off the switch, and now it works fine!

@Sicknesss I HAD THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM! but i fixed it by accident, i got the keyboard a couple of days after it came out, then i complained to razer, hopefully they gonan fix the issue, i acutally fixed it by accidently breaking a bit of the plastic suyrrounding the key, while popping the key cap "1" off to see wat the issue was

that's ridiculous. A $140 keyboard that gets stuck keys? One would think that a company that makes their entire revenue from selling pc accessories would be able to make a pc accessory without problems at release

I had the same problem, but it didn't get as stuck as easy as yours, I also had the same issue with the number keys above the letters getting stuck down.

Also, the keyboard frame has faded parts on it, as if it was a used keyboard, I have videos of it up on my channel.

Razer claims to be one of the best gaming peripheral companies there is, I don't see how when their products are clearly defective 99% of the time. I've had like 7 of their products and pretty much all of them have issues.

razer makes expensive products with sh*t quality. I asked for a refund but they wanted me to switch the CTRL keys around to see if it works. I think they will send you an extra CTRL key and not replace the whole keyboard.

@dmZBoXor Deck keyboard is one of the best on the market but it cost more than the razr keyboards. I have the Deck ice tactile keyboard myself.

@dmZBoXor Filco, Leopold, Ducky, Deck, Das Keyboard, IBM, Dell, Cherry, Rosewill, HHKB and many others. Steelseries, even though I hate "gaming" brands, also make better keyboards than Razer.

@koxoxok Im not going to try and tell you that razer is the greatest company around ever, but if this is your only experience with them, thats not really fair to jusdge the whole company based on this. This is their first mechanical. I guess thats not a strong defense, but my experiences with razer have been problem free. I use the mamba, which quickly climbed the ranks to be my fave mouse, and the lycosa, the popular keyboard to complain about, but i love it. My lycosa is fine.
