  • Backing up Marks point, this is for one not a game.. It is infact a simulator. Mark was only following the rules and actual procedures carried out by pilots. If your looking for a game buy Microsoft flight ;)

  • Yeah thanks Marko, these tutorials are always useful tools for the advanced simmer. I will check out your channel and enjoy your flights in the US!

  • Had to dislike for the autoland. What's the point of playing the game if you let the computer do everything? That was great visual conditions.

  • @powtaetow Well first of all if you watch my other vids, you'll see that I never use autoland. People have requested me to shoot a vid featuring an autoland, here it is! Second of all, what's the point of having a sophisticated software if you don't learn to use it at its full potential?

  • @marko071988 nice comeback

  • turn this OFF. Turn it OFF. Now turn this button OFF. Nice video!

  • where is the button which you can activate the nav 1 frequency, PLEASE HELP !

  • how do you open that thing on the bottom left corner that you can open several screens from it?

  • A very, very good set of 4 videos. Kudos to you for a good job!!

  • Please man reply me1 I´ve bought this awesome plane but the Altitude hold simply doesn´t work! I´ve aligned the IRS, do I have to do all the CPU things to make the Autopilot and Speed hold work fine?

  • very nice video.

  • @marko71988

when i setup the fmc to autolland i mean choosing the ILS runway then i go onto legs and go to delite the ''route discon'' part it says inseufficent delete do i delete it or not ? or am i doing somthing wrong

    thanks dude :D

  • what recorder are you using and do you need a copilot if you do plz reply

  • I have a question about the FMC, I have my STAR entered into the FMC, and the values of the altitudes are entered at each vor in the star, but the autopilot does NOT auto decend to those altitudes, nor does it set the correct air speed. What am I doing wrong? It says all the altitudes in the MDF, but it doesn't do anything with them... Am I supposed to decent myself. Also, it doesnt activate ILS freq., I hit App and it doesn't catch glide slope.

  • whats the fun is the computer doing everthing

  • @The12rspc I usually engage the approach swith as soon as the glideslope appears

  • Nice tutorial, but one question:

How did you get the GPWS sounds?

Is it because of the Autoland mode?

I never get the GPWS and Autopilot sounds.

  • @N756TA

Thank you but where do I can buy the 2.2 update.

I have the boxed version from just flight and so I cannot dowload the 2.2 update at the captain sim website.

Is there another way to get the 2.2 update?

  • only 1 issue.... You flew United Air Lines!!! YUK!

  • Hello

    nice tutorial.

I have the CS 757 for fs9 ,too .I installed update 2.1 the problem is . when I st the flaps to 5 (180 kts.) there always is an warning tone.Do you know waht the problem is?

I'm from germany so I hope you can understand me ;D

  • @AirPiano2503 I just bought the newest version, 2.2. Should fix the problem, look for the update.

  • Really great tutorial, the best one I have seen. Congratulations.

  • I started at the gate but when i tried to turn ext power on, no matter how many times I clicked it, it would not turn on. Plaese help.

  • @usbusmodsairplanes55 All you need to do is click the Captain sim button in the top menu it should say Connect external Power or something like that andclick that and it should give you a message saying it was connected, then you can turn on EXT power.

  • @bullsfan013 It works now. Thanks for the help!

  • Hey thanks a lot for this tutorial. But I have a little problem. I maked the same like you but the aircraft doesn't turns to the next waypoint.

    Do you know why?

    Thanks for your answere=)

  • for the ILS did you have to enter the crs and frequency into the NAV1 box? Or did you already some how set it in your FMC??

  • hey great !

    ehm I've got a question :

    is it fsx?

    and did you update it?

because I have the cs installes on the fsx but my problem is, that I can not add winglets to the aircraft and I can not hear any seatbelt/no smoking sound....

do you know what my problem is? :D

  • hii... maybe im just too noobie, but, if you do all that real cool and realistic flight planning, by hand, can u still fly with FSX ATCs and the 'realism' provided by the game and traffic add ons?? or it is like, the flying experience, but no talk to ATC or planes around? tnx.

  • @luiscurtolo Late reply, but I'll explain a little. FS2004 and FSX don't have SID's and STAR's available. So, if you want to use the ATC, use directional take-off or VFR rules perhaps. Otherwise you may have to fuss with the flight planner to get IFR. Otherwise, don't use it.

  • Thanks that was excellent all your tutorials are really it has really helped me. Keep up the good work

  • In the ills approach don't you have to enter manually the ills frequencies or is it that the fmc does it manually???

  • @RBdanger5 Well if you entered the landing rwy in the FMC it's automatically going to enter the ils frequency in the RADNAV page.

  • @marko071988 So you just enter the runway and the fmc plans the heading you need to intercept the ils

  • @RBdanger5 No, you need to be flying a heading that intercepts the localizer, once intercepted the plane flies the approach by itself.

  • @AmericanFrenchM Thanks I know that but im usually used to know that the atc tells me the landing runway and headings y am used to fly and thats the confusing part

  • @AmericanFrenchM and from where is it that you get the waypoints and airways to plan the fmc in the pre flight??? Its because im new to this plane i used to fly the boeing 737 500 its a completly difrent procedure and a completly difrent cockpit

  • @RBdanger5 Watch my vid on flightplanning, you'll get all the info needed.

  • @marko071988 - Yes it does!

  • Hi,

How do i go to HDG mode from LNAV. I cannot select the "SEL" button on the heading knob. Your help is appreciated

  • @Thebmwisthebest Click right on the knob

  • @marko071988 wow man thanks, "Your help is appreciated" as i said.....

  • @Thebmwisthebest No problem!

  • @bullsfan013 Did you download the latest version of the plane?

  • @marko071988 I'm not really sure I think I have the Pro pack Idk if that makes a difference I tried to land it again, and like around 150k or so I was getting ready to make my last turn and stalled out of nowhere I'm not sure it was giving me the altitude alarm that went off in your video like going on and off then I stalled. I'm not sure on this plane I would like to learn how to fly it properly and land but I'm having second thoughts. Thanks again for the help

  • @bullsfan013 If you are trying to land with the plane fully loaded with fuel it's normal your landing speed should be very high. I suggest you try landing with something around 20 or 30% of total fuel.

  • @marko071988 Thanks for the advice I'll give it a try but for example what if the plane requires more than 30%. So what was the cause of the stall too slow too much fuel I generally go the fastest I can when it comes to VREF like I wouldn't want to choose flap 30 because I know the VREF will be too low

  • @bullsfan013 What I meant is that if you are not doing a full flight and just doing random landings, just put 30% fuel. If you are doing a real flight, enter the correct amount of fuel (I double the amount given by fs flight planner, it's not professional but works most of the time!)

  • @marko071988 O okay cool I tried it it worked thanks for your help.

  • ok i really need your help! i downloaded captain sim 757 but its sooo different than the default planes in fsx like the my cockpit in my captain sim 757 my lcd screens are just pure blue no attitude indicator yellow brown i really need help!

  • @pilotanthony yup, you need to do all the start up procedures to get the plane running!

  • @marko071988 omg man its only a sim! i just want to fly!!!!! isnt there a basic checklist??? thanks

  • @pilotanthony Well then get the posky 757, it's free and much less complicated to use!

  • @marko071988 i have posky 757's and there useless! i love wing flex posky dont hav it

  • @marko071988 okk is there a checklist to follow as i downloaded this for free! :D

  • @pilotanthony no, you need to log onto the website to get them... try google to find another one.

  • @pilotanthony Yeah, maybe that's the only thing missing because their aircraft are pretty good quality. Anyhow, can't help you more than by telling you to follow the tutorial...

  • great tutorial!! this aircraft is truly amazing ! im subscribing

  • @andempson Thanks!!

  • This is an amazing tutorial! I have this amazing aircraft! Whoever says this is complicated, not worth it, and posky is better, well...this aircraft is great and if you wan't to become a pilot some day, buy it! It is extremely realistic! Thank you marko, just because of this, i am subscribing!

  • @TheAviationExpert Thanks a lot!!

  • sorry meant off

  • wow thanks a lot. This tutorial helped me a lot! It's pretty easy once you get the hang of it =) gonna post some 757 vids soon!

1 question though: why is it when i'm descending and i have the VNAV on, it sets my vertical speed to -4500 and i'm still doing mach .717 and then it overspeeds. Do i have to turn vnav on once I start my descent?

  • @bob22903 Normally when the plane has to descend steeply the FMC displays a message saying "drag required", so you are supposed to deploy some speedbrake, this should reduce your speed and avoid overspeeding.

  • Can i start this aircraft by pressing Ctrl+E?

  • @themasterquebec Yes but then there is no point in having this sophisticated software ;)

  • How do you get the information-screen to show the route and climbing/desending?

    Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Buksepisser What??

  • how did you get it to call your height on landing mine doesnt do that

  • @Jackass2905 You need to get the latest version of the plane

  • You did not set the Baro for your APP, best to grab some simplates or the real ILS plates etc, makes it very interesting when in total IMC and flying a manula ILS.

Not bad though mate, well done, for average simming its great. :)

  • You're right, I forgot to set the altimeters... my bad...

  • When I engage my APP mode sometimes my glideslope wont become active, or if it is Localizer wont line up either.

  • Are you sure you're on a course that intercepts the ILS?

  • This is a very detailed tutorial and it helped me A LOT. Just a little tip, when you are landing and are approaching minimuns (200ft) you should turn auto pilot off and manualy make a nice gentle flair to the runway for the most smooth landing your passengers will ever feel. (lol)

  • Thanks, but I was showing people how to do an autoland.

  • oh, nvm then

  • But otherwise you are completely right, on normal ILS approaches, you do exactly what you say.

  • Approaching minimums is notmuch on 200', it's mostly at 300', depends on the CAT.

  • Can I learn all of this in the lessons. Or in the manuel

  • Yes you can, that's how I learned it all!

  • is this an autoland?

  • yes it was

  • And I say so in the tutorial...

  • THANK YOU!!!

  • why the locolizer doesnt move in your HSI? It moved later tho. Put your heading not almost toward the ILS, the interception will be rough causing left righ and then left. Nice tuts!

  • It does...

  • You said the speed hold turns off automatically on approach, when does it turn off?

  • Great tutorial!!! Thanks so much this really helped. One of the best Tutorials iv ever seen.

  • Thanks!!

  • By far, one of the best tutorials I have seen, all 4 parts of it were great. Well done.

  • Thanks! It's nice when people enjoy your hard work ;)

  • I can't turn the ext power on

  • you need to do it in the FS menu, where it says Captain Sim, you'll see an option external power.

  • how does the plane land so good anytime i fly the ils it turns to hard and always misses the runway

  • Try getting the latest version of the plane on their website.

  • when did you put on the center and right autopilot

  • It goes on automatically when you press the APP button.

  • ok ok i firgured it out...when i did the same thign as u di in your previous video and i did my STAR plan for KLGA and all i was missing was my rwy ldg and i went to the LEGS page and instead of the APP route it was still my flight plan...???? i dont knoow how to get my STAR waypoints up

  • ok i figured so the STAR that is scheduled in the route could change?

  • Normally you choose the STAR during the flight and you can change it whenever you want.

  • ohh ok and my EFIS panel wot show up when i click on the icon so ill have to go in VC or Captains view and adjust that but do you check the wind direction for the airport before the land?

  • By EFIS panel I meant NAV display sorry, so it's already on the 2D cockpit. Yes, you are supposed to check the weather, which includes wind when you are approaching an airport.

  • this is probably the best tutorail youve made besides the take off but i have one question...is there an indicator on the computer or CDU that tells you wen the APP mode needs to be activated? thanks!

  • No there isn't. You turn it on when you are on a course that intercepts the ILS localizer. Usually with SIDS and STARS you can see on the EIFIS panel when to do so.

  • Check out simmarket (dot) com.

  • marko071988 - Thank you for this! I'm just learning how to fly more complex aircraft like Captain Sim's and your 4 part series here is a great help. Thank you for taking the trouble to make it!

  • Thanks, I really appreciate this!!

  • Thank you for great video!

  • You are very welcome!!

  • What are your pc specs?

  • Intel core quad 2,5Ghz, 4 gigs of ram, 2 GeForce 9800 gt

  • I was wondering if the CS 757 works with windows vista? :-)

  • Yeah it does!

  • Hi,

can you say something about the performance impact? I readed that it is very performance hungry essp. in the 2d cockpit

  • I got to agree with that. This plane is a real framerate killer, its only flaw...

  • awesome! is this Aircraft from PMDG? because i bought PMDG 737-800/900 and 747-400 they very expensive i can't afford anymore of them!!

  • No, it's from Captain Sim. It's much less expensive than the PMDG software, and a great quality product!

  • good vid

  • thanks for your tutorial !!

    5/5 :)

  • Hey, no problem!!

  • Encore une belle série. Tu maitrise plusieurs appareils. Bravo

  • Merci!!

  • wow les sons son vraiment bien a l'attérissage!

dommage que jai pas le capitain sim :(

    tu serais un exellent instructeure!

    aller A+!

  • Lol, merci pour le compiment fidèle viewer!!

  • Nice landing and you do a nice tutorials of these planes. I think I figured out my problem. I have to upgrade to Block F which if I am correct is the same as the Pro Pack which includes the add on sound the FMC(working) and the ACE

  • Actually the AP did a pretty hard landing, or a least not the smoothest ever! Glad you fixed your problem, and thanks for the nice comment!
