i dislike neck knifes for one reason i find it a whole lot easier to reach onto my belt then to stick my hand up my shirt or have the knife in an era were somone can easly grab it and rip it off or use it against me
but i do like the small neck knifes i use them for alot of stuff
I am thinking about getting this knife ... but does anyone can tell me fi the sheath scratches the knife ... cuz when you pull it out sounds like it ??
I love the knife. Hate the sheath. Knife disengages and floats around in your shirt. Very scary. I don't wear it any more. Benchmade should have a recall before somebody is seriously injured. Made in Taiwan.
Don't whine about the goddamn name of the knife unless you'd prefer buying a pink one with little rainbows on it called "blunty the blade of peace and love." It's for police and military you stupid f*ck. Besides, if you stab someone in the face, it won't matter what the name of the knife is, you'll get in trouble unless you have a good reason, period.
@GravemindLFX About the only problem with this knife IMO is the damn chisel grind, otherwise I love mine.
I did wrap the handle with gutted 550 chute cord using a Strider 360 pattern.
About the name, mine say's Snoddy on the blade, someone would be butt ass stupid to "announce" the name Benchmade chose for the blade, especially if involved in a altercation.
And, it lays flat against your chest so the size is a non issue.
Why the hell would you call a self defense style neck knife "Instigator", god...Have fun defending yourself in court after using a knife called "Instigator".
BITCHMADE is completley overpriced garbage you would not believe what a piece of shit the $400+ infadel is check out roadside imports youtube sight if you need further info...
I don't own one of these, but I'm 100% sure it comes with the sheath that was aforesaid. Firstly, I think you've made a good choice going Benchmade. Although, i do recommend you look into the Smith & Wesson and the Spyderco Neck Knives, the S & W in particular looks AMAZNG. It hardly has any weight, it suits it's role perfectly. Keep in mind, this is a last resort weapon. Imo 3 + inches would be too big/heavy. You can either wear on the neck or over the shoulder, concealed under the armpit.
The thing about it is, I never considered carrying a neck knife at all, simply because there are a bunch of restriction on fixed blades and how you have to carry them unconcealed in california. And yes, you're right, it does come with the sheath. Pretty stupid of me not to notice the benchmade logo on it. Anyhow, I'll look into the S&W neck knives. Thanks for the recommendation. :)

do you own one of these?
i just decided to buy one and i wanna know how it feels when you have it around your neck? i assume with the thin profile, it's pretty comfortable.

I just love that one, it's so damn slick. The handle, the wharnie blade, the sheath, everything is just too cool.
I would get one, if I wasn't saving up for a ZT 0300 :D.
