  • is that guy withy the submarin theories Orson Wells?

  • @103littlebastard

I know that I write and speak a pidgin bad english (and no problem for me it's not my native language and I suppose that I write a better english than teh most part of english-speaking peoples write in French ^^) But I think seeing your question that you dont read (like much more peoples in youtube) my and the informations before the beggining of the video itself, if not you would not post this question because I give the answer...

  • @cumbas Im sorry, are we on the same thread here? I was not critisising your abilities to translate. In fact I am also French. But im asking for this film if its available anywhere on the market with an English Subtitle.? I wish to give it as a gift to a friend whom cannot speak French..

  • @103littlebastard

    You are French ?!!!!

  • @cumbas could you please name the march the Guard were singing at the end of the video.

  • is this film availble in DVd with English subs? does anyone know?

  • What's the name of the song from the start? sounds great.

  • Also I think by the time of Trafalgar he had given up on the invasion

  • @thejohn95

    ?

  • @thejohn95 yes, the mainly opinion is that we already had given up, contrary to the legend

  • @thejohn95

    you are a strange guy

Ok I dont write a good english but it's not my native language & I think that I write in english better than the most part of english-speaking peoples write in french & so my english is Is understandable

A strange guy because in your last message you write :"Also I think by the time of Trafalgar he had given up on the invasion" While I say perfectly it also in my explanations before the beginning of the movie...

  • Is the Fulton thing true that sounds like bullshit to me

  • @thejohn95

    ?

  • @thejohn95: Hells yeah it is true. You might wonder why Napoleon turned those ideas down it is as you see that 80 percent of all steam ships exploded and submarines made of wood and metal platings do not make for much good weaponry. Also Napoleon made hot air balloon divisions.

    you are a strange guy

Ok I dont write a good english but it's not my native language & I think that I write in english better than the most part of english-speaking peoples write in french & so my english is Is understandable

A strage guy because in your last message you write :"Also I think by the time of Trafalgar he had given up on the invasion" While I say perfectly it also in my explanations before the beginning of the movie...

  • @vidman163

    1g)

Sorry but you write a deceptive thing...

Yes it 's well the Army of the young French Republic who use for the 1st time in the History a balloon (as you say but us the French call it by the name of his inventors the "MONTGOLFIÈRE" of the French & brothers Joseph & Etienne Montgolfier) during the so important Battle of Fleurus vs armies united of Austria, England & Hanover (June 26, 1794 --> /watch?v=kxuvTB-HCYQ ) BUT...

  • @vidman163

    2g-end)...

BUT Napoleon himself dont liked & gave up even this system of observations of the battles because he judged the Montgolfières too slow to operate & implement with regard to his fast control of the battles...

And it is 50 years later that the Montgolfiers were really used by armies in a big numbers and by the American Armies during the American Civil War, the North vs the South

  • @cumbas: I meant a balloon division for the invasion of england. Not the first though.

  • All things considered France has won more battles in its history than any other.

  • @Saberlena

    1f)

    it is not a "considering"

it is the truth & the real statistics quite simply :

Since 800 years France is the European country who participated in the biggest number of wars and battles and who won the biggest part in number & in purcentage above all the European countries (even the arrogant England or The UK in spite of his old propaganda on "his victories" ^^)

  • @Saberlena

    2f)

& often France was alone vs an alliance of more countries vs it like in the Revolution & the Napoleonic time (it was praticly never the case for England or the UK who often to the opposite fought behind a big alliance of more countries vs one country & vs France especially)

1 vs 1 and vs France in Europe the UK or England lost all the wars since his defeat in the "1 hundred war" vs Us, you can to seek...

  • @Saberlena

    3f)

After the perfidious England & his old hatred of France (since 1066 ^^) try to make believe to the rest of the world since several decade that France lost all his wars, speaking especially for that only about the defeat in June 1940 during the "Battle of France" BUT forget to say that the UK Army was with Us in june 1940 and lost also "the Battle of France" and even more quickly than Us...

  • Napoleon is a true legend that will never die!!!

But there are many jealous English people who will drag his name through the mud. I have also noticed how there are many Americans who call the French - "cheese eating surrender monkeys" - is this because the French army surrendered to the Germans, during world war 2?

  • @GhostToPost1670

    1e)

yes we lost the Battle of France in 1940 not by cowardly or because the French soldiers were not courageous & valliant like always in our History (since 800 years France is the European Nation who take part to the more numerous battles & wars in Europe and who won the more numerous numbers with the more hight purcentage of these battles & wars before all the others countries even England or the UK) but for more anothers reasons social & political especially

  • @GhostToPost1670

    2e)

France had not prepared for the WW2 as for example it prepared the WW1

As faults of our great military command which had not listened to for example few years before the young Colonel De Gaulle ^^ who recommended the massive use in important units of the tanks and the planes what German them made

In France one says at the military level that our high military chiefs had a world war of delay & always believed itself in the WW1 to explain that

  • @GhostToPost1670

    3e)

But contrary to the legend & the untrue propaganda by some anglo-saxons roastbeef minds anti-French, the French did not capitulated (I specify the French Army capitulated on the orders of the Pétain’s government) without fighting enormously and knew in spite of its maladjustment with the WW2, great victories

During the 6 months of the Battle of France, the German Army had more deaths than during the same time of 6 months during the Battle of Russia a few years later

  • @GhostToPost1670

    4e)

& I remember that the French Army in 1940 was not the alone army to lose, the Brits Army was in France also & it lost like Us & even it moved back much more quickly ^^ (but it is sure this, a raostbeef mind dont speak about & he forgot that ^^)

  • @GhostToPost1670

    5e)

In all fact we won and resist during the WW1 because France was prepared & ready for the war & we lost in 1940 the Battle of France because France & the French Army was not preparad for the War quite simply & not by cowardly of course...

Since more centuries now in Europe it is not the English or Brits Army who decide of the destiny of one war, but his allied like France or others

  • @GhostToPost1670

    6e)

Since more centuries England or the UK later have never won ALONE one war in Europe vs an European great power (France, Germany or Russia) as opposed to what them untrue propaganda wants to make believe and always it put their safety on their allies

The last war in Europe that England dare to make alone vs an ennemi was the “1 Hundred War” vs France in the middle-age and England lost in the end ^^

  • @GhostToPost1670

    7e)

You know when a country is not liked as the roastbeefs do not like France one benefits from the smallest fact or defect to exaggerate & to grow that

One speaks only about that to make accept for the rest of the world that it is the only truth!

It has been the policy of the roastbeefs vs France since always especially for a year 1066, the invasion & the 300 years of French colonization who followed ^^

  • @GhostToPost1670

    8e-end)

Unfortunatly only the scholards on the True History know that it is a untrue propaganda

But fortunatly now more & more guys like me modestly want to learn the truth in front of this untrue propaganda anti-french :-)

  • @RoseWood5566

    LOL$

no I suppose nothing and a girl can to be an pure and perfect example of roastbeef mind of course ^^

    like you :-)

so now you tired me, my channel is not a "basse-cour" (take a book French-English if you know that it is ^^) for roastbeefs, boys or girls lol :-)

    bye little roastbeef girl :-)

  • @RoseWood5566

do you understadn & read me ?

sorry but you think again like a perfct roastbeef mind ^^

I said personnaly i dont hate the English and even i'm here friends from England

But it is so are and it is the truth to say that also ^^

so do you are a roastbeef or an English ?

hum hum very hard to see that actually (like usually with you ^^) lol

  • @RoseWood5566

    1a)

    hi roastbeef :-)

so, try to watch this video until the end and you will read that I dont hate english

    /watch?v=ev-wteEDjXU

I dont like the Roasbeefs and it is more different ^^

I dont like the liers, the suckers & unscholar guys, the idiots & blind fanatic who think they have the truth only because they know THEIR truth, I dont like arrogance & pride based of liars & I dont like anti-French & anti Europe

& this represent the perfect Roastbeef ^^

  • @RoseWood5566

    2a-end)

Thus like I said I dont like the roastbeefs & unfortunatly for you more english are roastbeefs

you have your answer now :-)

  • the concept of an emperor/general leading his men into battle and scoring victories all around europe would make any president look like a big puss.

^ VIVA LE EMPEUR AND I'M AMERICAN! :D

  • lol

Without look your count i knew you are a roastbeef ^^

Eternal perfidious liers & scuses of roastbeef dice its question of France and french invasion of 1066 ^^

    ...

  • i saw few time ago a report on French-Normand invasion of 1066 made by the BBC... Nice but ...for you false point of view of roastbeef lol

Full with false truths or at least speaking only about the truths which confirms the perfidious vision roastbeef of History...

  • By example not words like "french" or France

Always used "Normand like if Guillaume was a perfect Viking chief from Scandinavia and not a French duke from an area of France loool

When this kind of report is seen, one understands your education completely distorted about the true history

But it's sad for you especially nowadays...

  • so like usually & quickly, let's restore some truths about this other great lie of roastbeef minds on the history (& your strange & personal interpretation) :

    ...

  • 1- the 1st, i know its hard for an arrogant little roasbeef mind but use the true original second name please : its not William but Guillaume in perfect French language (do one say the prince Guillaume currently for the son of Diana ? No, one see the prince William in the true original first name appelation cause he is from England like Guillaume was from Normandie, area of France where one speak french)

    ...

  • 2- yes (except for a perfidious mind of roastbeef) when Guillaume invade England is not in the name of official French kingdom ok, since France is not in this time a whole kingdom on the whole French territory, but of course Guillaume was a perfect French duke and not a Viking duke loool (funny roastbeefs which want to believe their false vision of History at the world since all the time)

    ...

  • 3- in this time already Normands were in France since more 300 years & of course they have few things to see with original vikings. They are melting-pot with oldest French ethnies, they live in the french way, customs, food, political, economy and of course in language, they speak and use french

    ...

  • They are in a french duché & a part of french melting-pot of this time quite simply even if in the political level Normandie was not (in this time) a part of official French Kingdom like others "duché" of "continental" France of this time ...

  • Because in your perfidious logical mind of roastbeef by examples :

    - American white are not american ? (they are in America since least of 250 years for the oldest)

    - English are not english but celtes ? ^^

    - And of course your kings and queens since several centuries are not english also but french (or normand if you want lol) or german ? ^^

    ...

  • 4- The big part of Lieutenants and army of Guillame was not from Duché de Normandie but from the true official French kingdom

its more in the truth one French-(i want to say from official kingdom of France in this time)-Normand invasion that only a Normand invasion of course

    ...

  • The French-Normands established after their invasion the French way of live in England (& not a viking way of live lol)

& especially the French langage (and not viking language) in England during 300 years

Dont forget Dieu et mon droit, the devise of your royalty since this time, its french & not viking or english, sorry for your disproportionate pride of roastbeef ^^

    ...

  • Current England, an old colony of French ??

yes of course, its the History quite simply

& its not a shame, does not die by reading my words lol

On the contrary, it's for you a prestigious origin ^^

    ...

  • Thanx for sharing all these interesting videos. Napoleon fascinates me and I always feel bad when watcing the battle of Waterloo. Napoleon was pure military genius absolutely but he maybe underestimated his enemies so he become overrun by all like Germany in WW2!

  • Amo esta película

  • Quand la Garde marche après la victoired'Ulm , est-ce normal si on dirait qu'il chante sur l'air de la Marche des Bonnets à poils ?

  • Very informative. Merci cumbas. Damned english

  • ^^

watch in chronological order all my extracts in my playlist about this movie on this great battle ;-)

    merci à toi

  • i got goosebumps seeing the final march and the song of the imperial guard.

    IMMORTAL EMPEROR OF EUROPE

    VIVE L' EMPEREUR!!!

  • you are not alone & it's also for that i chose to include this last scene whith this song during the march of Imperial Guard" in the extract ^^

  • It is very rare to see Napoleons hat correctly depicted in a movie

  • great music

  • ...for a great & epic History

Looks at my videos about Musics and Marchs of the French Republic & the First Empire to listen much more :- )

  • Merci pour cette extrait! I wish we could get this movie in North America but it is not available here. It's one of my favorite moments when the Army of England became the Grande Armee.

Interesting that they showed Napoleon and Fulton. I've always thought it was one of his few shortsighted moments rejecting Fulton (he visited Napoleon in 1803 or 1804, not on the eve of the departure for Ulm). Of course it's easy to look back now knowing Fulton's invention changed the world in a few short years.

  • To know if Fulton returned visit also Napoleon at this precise moment is not important

what is important and is wanted by the movie & by me which is selected this extract is to learn that this American inventor really met several times Napoleon & all the big scientists of France to propose his revolutionary (for this time) inventions :-)

  • & yes of course you are right, it's easy now to say that these inventions changed the face if it's not of the world, it's the face of the battles on the sea

    ...

  • ...

if the French Navy La Royale had decided to study the torpedo more deeply for example and to use it, that would have compensated its weakness vs the 'Royal Navy' because of its disorganization supplements since the Revolution during which all its Big Admirals and strategists of seas victorious of the 'Royal Navy' during the America Independance War and royalists had left France

  • - & if France had also won the war on the sea, there was no more England

    - & if there were no more England, there would not have been a long time the others enemies on the continent (because it is England which pushed always them in the shade to make the war vs France and often financing their army or bought their sovereign with the richness which it had thanks to its colonies far of Europe)

    - & the Empire could have thrived in peace as wanted and had organized Napoleon

  • How would be Europe and the world now in this case ??

    nobody knows it ^^

Like we say in France :

Avec des si on refait le monde ^^ ;-)

  • Merci cumbas !
