@thejohn95: Hells yeah it is true. You might wonder why Napoleon turned those ideas down it is as you see that 80 percent of all steam ships exploded and submarines made of wood and metal platings do not make for much good weaponry. Also Napoleon made hot air balloon divisions.

Merci pour cette extrait! I wish we could get this movie in North America but it is not available here. It's one of my favorite moments when the Army of England became the Grande Armee.

Interesting that they showed Napoleon and Fulton. I've always thought it was one of his few shortsighted moments rejecting Fulton (he visited Napoleon in 1803 or 1804, not on the eve of the departure for Ulm). Of course it's easy to look back now knowing Fulton's invention changed the world in a few short years.
