A sad video. People here have commented that the USA has cut off food supplies to North Korea. Totally untrue. Food is freely allowed in, and after arriving, much of it is resold by the North Korean government for money for the military. Food and humanitarian medicine has never been blocked. Kim Jong Il eats anything he wants. Has high priced whores to take care of him. The common people have nothing and starve!
there must be many starving poeple, and no place to live, but in the city, conditions must be better.i can't find tourist films, abaut the starving in north korea.i only saw happy people.
@Horthen the happiness is a facade and is only artofficaly created in the capitol of Pyonyang....(the only city tourists are allowed visit in the DPRK) their not allowed visit the "starving areas" (e.g. the small villages, towns, concentration camps - gulags and countryside)
Its so pity. I still believe that n.korea need to concentrate on the people rather than military. The video I watch all this time about beutiful Pyong Yang is just a video to cover up n'koreans real life. It sucks man. Lying bustard.
Well what can we do? We already tried to help them fight and looked what happened. This is an ultimate loss because Koreans are amongst the most intelligent in the world. I sure as heck don't want to go to war again with them.
come on now, this is a small price to pay so the dear leader can have the latest and greatest video collection.......you people need to get real, you will pay a highly for you insubordination to the state......
Dear Eric, You chose a topic that deserves more attention than it's getting in the international media. You showed pictures of starving children but no images of the fearless leaders who are perpetrating this disaster. More information about why this is happening would have made this video more compelling. Best, Mrs. White, SAS Social Studies Teacher
it is very sad to think that this still goes on today in such a magnitude, especially when we consider how we live. teaches us to truly value what we have. great music, very good video indeed
very nice video. you really get the points across clearely. putting them on a red background really helps accent them. the music was also very fitting.
this is so good. nice song choice i listened to it like 4 times..whilst learning of coarse. its pro. good job! you have a real talent for film making .. very eye opening
AWESOME,SIMPLY AWESOME, this is sad but true. I've only heard about NK having the worst human rights, but now i can actually "see" what it's like in north korea...
The big problem is China and South Korea who do not want the North to collaspe. The exodus of human beings who have lived in a gulag for so long would cause crime rates to skyrocket as well as lowering local wages significantly. South Korea especially does not want the destruction to thier economy and props Kim Jong Il up to keep the status quo by sending billions to keep the North Korean gulag alive.
Shocking, but true, its time for the world to act, regimes like this should not exist in the 21th century. Thanks ericc319 u did a tremendous job, simply outstanding, thanks for posting
I thought the text in the video was describing USA,

Lol yea "North Korea is starving because the US cuts off their food supply! Damn the North Korean Government?"

nk gov surely has its unquestionable faulty part here.
though, not trying to pick a fight or anything, short of electricity is mainly caused by sanction
