@williamkanegateshead True but at this point it was the american money that was allowing it to be made in Colour - otherwise still be in b/w as a 99% of British TV was at the time..... and the US was 60-70% in colour by 1967...

@williamkanegateshead I would think the "In Color" tag at the beginning of Season 5 and 6 episodes was only seen in the U.S. and Canada (where the shows could air in color) and not in the UK.

I would think the "In Color" tag only was seen in the UK years later, when the colo(u)r episodes were rerun in colo(u)r.
