has anyone else noticed how in CnC3 avatars, flame tanks, scorpion tanks and Venoms under your control are red all over, unlike ones which are not under you control, which are a grey color? can anyone explain the reason for this and how I might be able to change it. I would prefer the units to look the way they are meant to

nope.. reaper-17 tripods are the best i tested with my friend full upgrades and no upgrade avatar vs reaper tripod 1v1 tripod wins in all, to bad, i liked avatars too but i like only the best units..

avatar even doesnt need other upgrade only flame tank and beam cannon

and tripod have a shield thats his unique upgrade also for reaper tripods very good with that green tiberium if he absorbs it is much powerfull so lets just say tripod have armor and weapon upgrades and avatar just weapon

As of 1.09, the Mammoth is inferior to the Avatar. 1 on 1, the Avatar ALWAYS wins, even without upgrade.

ur wrong a avatar warmech can only win a mammoth or tripod when it is fully upgraded(and it must be near enuf for the flame thrower to hit or the mammoth will just pwn it)

and a MARV can just run over an avatar u phail...

Avatar is the best even with its small delay.. taking weapons for other units make it really cool. especialy when he become a veteran.. not even 5 mammoth can kill it.. i hjust command it to crush them with its legs

Well, they still can't crush other tier 3 units, BUT they are, as of 1.09, THE most powerful tier 3 ground unit in the game. They have the best health, firepower AND they're the cheapest and fastest to build. 1 on 1, the Avatar will ALWAYS win against the Mammoth, Juggernaut and Tripod UNLESS the Tripod can get close enough to use the EMP attack on the Avatar. If it does, it's over for the Avatar.
