@triskelion86 Except that Adam has already frequently been compared to the late, great Freddie Mercury. You can't change that. Clearly, the two are in the same league as vocalists and as showmen. Nevertheless, Adam is still establishing himself as a songwriter, so we'll have to wait on that and see what happens in the future. And influence will come if he proves to have staying power ... getting to front for Queen doesn't hurt.

Was a seasoned performer long before American Idol and thought the show would be a good platform to get his talent recognized by millions weekly. His risk paid off! he made each song week after week his own. He was the risk taker and will continue throughout his career.

Love how this video captured the fullness of Adams voice in a live performance. Having seen him 4 times live, I am always impressed at the depth and character of his live voice.
