I just watched the entire movie and I feel it has to be said - this is not just another fag movie.

I don't even think that the main character is gay. He is confused and is trying to find out the truth about himself, ( not necessarily his true sexual orientation). His presumable gayness is just the reason for him being picked on, and maybe the reason for his escape from reality. Everyone should see this movie. Very sad and very good.
