In my opinion.... This setup is great. No unnecessary holes drilled into the bass drum or the mounted tom. No mount tugging on the tensions rods on the tom. Sits nicely on a stand. Beautiful kit by the way. Energetic playing. Makes me want to give up! lol. Not quite this good. Great cover man.

@PuffinsLaughter09 maybe so, but people just copy off other drummers; I doubt this guy thought "I need to set my kit up so I can have maximum stick contact on every surface" I think most pop punk drummers set their kit up this way because of simmilar reasons, they copy their influences, its probably very quick to set up too - having memory locks on the cymbal stands and the two snare stands

@TheSenesence Sure it may be easy, but how do you know he didn't set it up the way HE wanted? When I first started playing I set my kit up like John Bonham - one of my greatest influences. Over time, I got ideas like "Hey if I did this, maybe it would work better for me" and I made the changes accordingly. But not everyone has their kit modeled after somebody else's, some people just get an idea in their head and set it up that way. It's all about trial and error, and what works for the drummer.

I see this setup used in many varieties of music. High flat cymbals are classic for hard-hitting music for the attack...
