While everyone wanted to be Gene Simmons, he wanted to be Ace Frehley. Dave loved early KISS (I'm assuming KISS [self-titled], Hotter Than Hell, and Dressed to Kill).

The original sound great, but in comparison sounded choppy, blotchy ect. That says alot about Dave, because his style has always been unorthodox and noisy with alot of blotchiness

I'm a Megadeth/Mustaine fan, and this is a pretty good cover, but it just doesn't hold up to the original. Mainly, it's too fast, which causes it to lose the groove. The great thing about KISS's version is that it's got that slow, heavy sound. It's like when people speed up "Cheap Sunglasses" by ZZ Top -- can't do that and hold the sound. Mustaine's solo here is also pretty good, but Ace just nailed something special in the studio that day (some of which, feedback, he's said was an accident).

Ace has been quoted to saying: If it was not for my love of music, I would have stopped years ago, Clubs do not pay the bills and not enough people go to the shows.

Paul's Solo from his last album, sold out nearly every show and was world wide.

Ace's are not.

Ace is still one of the best. Love em.

@carrzkiss I didn't say Ace has had a HUGE solo carreer, just the best one out of the 4 original members. Ace' last tour for Anomaly was world wide. Off the top of my head I know he tourd Australia,Germany and the U.K. Ace had a modest time in the 80's. I'd say that Paul has done a modest job as well in the music scene outside of KISS with Gene and Peter really not doing so hot. And, I went to one of the Paul shows from his last album and it was not sold out. I can only speak for the show I saw

I took my left hand and shoved him out the door. Peter turned to the Security Guard and he told Peter that he deserved what I just did to him and that he was not going to do anything to "me"...

His tour Manager told me Peter was sorry, but Peter never told me himself, so I do not accept...
