Awesome I love this cutscene The Heroes are in action here Knuckles punching storm and Sonic racing to Jet so full of action and the introduction of the Babylon Rogues just cool and the cutscene is awesome I'm glad I got this game again so awesome for a spin off game the characters look so cool with their gear and glasses etc great stuff going on this game awesome!

@ThePlasticBowl In both Sonic X and Sonic Underground they had hoverboards...I think that the game was based off of that, and Sonic just remembered how he used to ride on the hoverboard, and changed his technique to fit the Xtreme Gear's controls.

It's not that the boards go faster than Sonic, it's that Sonic uses up energy while running and the boards can go forever as long as they have air to power them. Sonic has a limit, Extreme Gear do not.

I agree, but I guess he likes any challenge so he'd take it up even if its not running. He runs at the speed of sound, not light. Otherwise he would just cross space and time lol. So when he is running he basically has a sonic boom effect like the jets. His average running speed is I think around 400kph.

The actors weren't changed because the old Eggman died, they were planning to change them before he passed away.

Sega has said that they changed to the actors from Sonic X because they wanted a bit more conitnuity between the games and anime. Plus, Japanese already had the same actors in both, so they wanted english to, too.

yes, and the voices are changed in part of the game storyline AFTER the games that were in the cartoon AND after the cartoon/anime had finished. But also, the voices aren't the only thing the same as the cartoon. The games in general are more of a Sonic X style than the Adventure series. That's why they're much more cartoony.
