ricordo benissimo fu una puntata chiamata punk not dead che mandò in onda videomusic oltre a Siouxsie andarono in onda i PIL i damned gli stranglers e poi non ricordo :-) cmq bei mi tempi.....
She always said,'Fat boy Smith didnt write any songs on the album. He just played' I love her,but she didnt like the fact that ultimately the Cure became so big. Me personally I love them both. Smithy was brilliant playing with the Banshees, but there was lots of tension!
For a song that Siouxsie dislikes so much, she could sure sing it well <3
In another live performance of this song (from the O Baby album) she says: "that's an odd one to request, but if you want that one"... I thought "What do you mean?? I love it!"
@Erasercuts Oh. I don't think the video was bad, but I can understand her being disappointed with it, the song presented a perfect opportunity to tell a compelling story with the video.
@IAmPlaysWithSquirrel I Agree, but Siouxsie was never really too happy about performing the song in at least a couple occasions. It all started with the bad experience from the video shoot, and something like that can really ruin the mood. Siouxsie rarely sang the song live compared to some of her other "leading" songs (even though Swimming Horses was a hit in some countries) this is just one of the interviews BTW w ww. thebansheesandothercreatures .co.uk/ siouxsiewebsiteinterview.htm
@solwolfpunk - yep, that's what you heard, followed by "or a face burnt to hell. Feel the cruel stones, breaking her bones..." The song is about the tradition of stoning women in certain cultures (can't recall which at the moment tho...) for adultery.

questi video furono trasmessi da video music in una puntata intitolata punk not dead bellissima che ricordi mille grazie per aver postato questa delizia !!!!
The three songs they performed which were broadcast for their appearence on The Tube is some of my favourite footage of theirs. I'd have loved to been in that crowd
A completely gorgeous, moving song. Siouxsie has serious vocal range. Too bad people tend to focus on the aesthetics of this band because they were brilliant songwriters; it's not all about the hair and make-up!
superb rare video clip, didnt actually perform it on the broadcast, severin getting stroppy with the camera, thankyou for posting and for your other great clips too.
surely, this song is awesome-but it's much, much better with the guitar parts.

She sounds like Julie Driscoll meets Nico meets Grace Slick here. I guess that's makes Siouxise the next acid queen in the lineage.

Her voice sounds superb when reaching the high notes for just a rehearsal!
I had to laugh at how they spelt her name as Siouxie instead of Siouxsie ;-)
