Hmmm... the magician talking for hours and hours and hours about how we can see both ends of the rope and then going for a pretty obvious sleight of hand where we suddenly don´t see both ends of the rope anymore is a bit frustrating for the audience.

But overall it is not too bad, very poor image quality though.

Its all in the presentation & how polished the act is, I would suggest rehearsing a script & practice in front of a mirror. Also, try not to mumble so much. I can hear an English -descent accent and yet my North American "western drawl" would still trump your diction.

4:22 to 5:06 you didnt put the string into the ring at the first point, thats why you were able to illusinate it off ;) 6:34 to 7:12 you took the ring (still on the string) with youre right hand up, and let go so illusion of comeing off and on.. just covered up. 7:46 to 7:47 the camera cut, witch ekslpains the sudden transfer of the ring to you're finger.. sorry for eksposing you're "secrets" but i enjoy it.

Alright, I apologize for being hostile; Im having a very off day. The best way I can explain to how I think this trick is performed is this

Either A the ring is very powerfully magnetic, meaning it can pull or attach to any object thats touching it, or B the string itself has a magnet or there is one inside of it.

How the trick may have been done is making it look like it was being threading by moving the ring up the side of the string and then having it come to the center like it was normally on the string. He knotted the ring to the string, in some parts, it was not actually threaded on, though it may have appeared that way, then he knotted it even though it wasnt actually on. Either way he would have no trouble taking it off. He did a very nice job making it seem as such though.

For people who think that theres a slit involved, youre wrong. It wouldnt have been performed as smoothly as it was if that was the case. There are however magic tricks where they use very large rings to perform that whole slit in the ring thing you other ppl have mentioned.

The shoelace is basically a magnet, anyone can give you a illusion he put it through when really it was ran up the side making it look like it. Im not sure where it is, it might make up the shoe string or a small part. Thats how hes doing it, end of story.

Also if you take a ring and drop it, it will catch if done right.

I don't know if you are using trickery to give an example of Houdinis escape effects or abilities to defeat impossible escapes,but if you are not using trickery, I have to say i have never seen this type of escape before.I learned some escape tricks ,that seem impossible, and maybe one day i will post a video.But if this is real, that secret is the key to many escapes in magic, if not all.
