If you look closely..... you will notice that bike the guy gives away is NOT a fixed gear. Look at the shot where he enters the frame - the bike is rolling by his feet are steady. He's coasting, which is something you can't do on a fixed gear bike.

not that I've ever ridden one....... longboards are over- 70's cruiser boards are where it's at now.
