It's Bright Wizard. And Marauders are Melee DPS which are supposed to take out Ranged DPS classes like the Bright Wizards, while Chosen are tanks and they will not deal as much damage as Melee DPS.

they do however have a dps spec ... they will really be like a warrior from WOW ... can dish out good dps when geared and specced well .. but of course still not the top dpser

THE GREEN BAR UNDER THE CHOSEN'S NAME IS HIS MORALE BAR!!! Just figured that out sorry, been playing AoC lately, got my conqueror to 60 and its a pretty fun all around game but doesn't have a main focus like WAR (RvR/PvP) AoC is every where and has decent pve and pvp and crafting

although I'm still going to get WAR just so i can be a marauder or chosen and the crafting, quest, rvr, pvp, customization systems are much more innovative

Is the Path if Discord just as good as the Path of Strife? I like magic melee attacks, but it says the path of strife is focused on "directly and brutally crushing foes", where that is not mentioned in the path of Discord. It also talks of how using greatweapons instead of shields "greatly increases offensive power", also not mentioned in discord.

1. Does that mean that Discords use shields, and are less powerful than Strife?

2. Even if discord doesn't use a shield, are they less powerful?

The Chosen will always use a 2h and will not be using a shield

All of the paths will deal decent damage but the path of strife will be slightly more powerful than the path of discord.

Remember, the Chosen is still a tank at the end of the day.

the fact that most mmo players dont have a top of the range gameing PC .. there are many reasons why WOW is the top MMo and one of them is the fact that over 50% of the players have old PCs you can infact still run wow very well with a 5 year old PC .. in gameing terms thats really really old hardware

There is really nothing special about chosen play style Just a tank who who weakens his opponents with curses and brings them down with the few {compared to the other careers} damaging abilities. Marauders are into this "weaken and hit" as well only they have a lot more damaging abilities and three mutations that bring some strategy into the combat. They are a lot more interesting that chosen in my opinion.
