Jon decided not to rejoin the band... I am friendly with Jon and he was always good to me, but at the end of the day he was a replaceable guitarist. He was asked to be back in the reformed band and he declined. Take a look at Matt Bair's guitar skills and performance skills and tell me he won't be just as good or better than Jon...

i know jon is in monsters are waiting... thats the reason he didn't rejoin, i dont think its that he was replacable more so that he got over doing pop punk. I live in Echo park and see them a ton. I did go to the reunion thing at in studio city, ill have to see if i have pics somewhere, its just not the same ya know.

I hear you, but knowing Matt since his pre-teen years, I see what an awesome musician he is. Jon was great and was part of the original Eve 6. Unfortunately, those days are over now. Hopefully Eve 6 will be lucky enough to somehow get Matt to continue to play shows with them. If he somehow gets involved in the writing process, the songs may get even more amazing - if that is at all possible with Max being one of the best lyricists of our generation.

We will see, but I beg to differ about it not being the same. Just check out these videos from the UMW comeback show. I have seen Eve 6 over 40 times and that show ranks up there as one of the top shows I have ever seen. The energy was awesome and the band was tight as hell. Could it have been because I hadn't seen them for nearly 3 years? Maybe.
