I'm a Ron Paul supporter, yet I don't disagree with Alan Keyes completely. Where I part ways with him is on tactics. You can't win a war against terrorsts by sending in a standing army into a nation and occupying it. Certainly you should confront and punish those states that harbor terrorists, but you have to look at what motivates terrorist and remove their recruitment incentives.

Keyes is a slight against the 1st amendment. The Bill of Rights calls for a separation of church and state, and I think that is something that the far right wing has threatened. This nation wasn't founded on Christian principles. It was founded by men with Christian principles. If the nation itself was founded of Christian principles, the 1st amendment wouldn't exist, and the preamble to the Declaration of Independence would say "God" instead of "Creator."
Alan Keyes says some interesting things here. However, we do need to be careful with the types of military use, principly becuase we don't have infinite military power. Thus, the strategies we employ need to be well thought out. Similarly, we need to individually take responsibility for our own country. We can't allow this external "intelligence" gathering to destroy the very things we are fighting for, and that appears to be happening. We need to be the intelligence.

I'm a Ron Paul supporter, yet I don't disagree with Alan Keyes completely. Where I part ways with him is on tactics. You can't win a war against terrorsts by sending in a standing army into a nation and occupying it. Certainly you should confront and punish those states that harbor terrorists, but you have to look at what motivates terrorist and remove their recruitment incentives.

Simjab, I was glad to see that Keyes was on Alex Jones' radio show this week. I haven't heard more concise and coherent explanations about the state of this country from the lips of anyone (including Ron Paul) than what I heard from Keyes. Much like the JFK assassination, I think that it will take a long time- possibly a generation- to acknowledge what any person with a shred of common sense and an inquiring mind already knows about 9/11. I noticed right away that whoever created this video was biased against Ron Paul.
Ron Paul is a MEDICAL DOCTOR. An obstetrician who has delivered thousands of babies.
Yet the poster of this video calls Alan Keyes "Dr Keyes" [simply because he has a PhD, yet doesn't called Dr-, Paul by his even more deserved title. WHY?

The person who put the video up (I was mirroring it at the time) was a Ron Paul supporter, and probably didn't put the video together as well as he could have. Nonetheless, I think this video served its purpose by creating a distinction between the two men that some were missing.

Keyes is a slight against the 1st amendment. The Bill of Rights calls for a separation of church and state, and I think that is something that the far right wing has threatened. This nation wasn't founded on Christian principles. It was founded by men with Christian principles. If the nation itself was founded of Christian principles, the 1st amendment wouldn't exist, and the preamble to the Declaration of Independence would say "God" instead of "Creator."

Alan Keyes says some interesting things here. However, we do need to be careful with the types of military use, principly becuase we don't have infinite military power. Thus, the strategies we employ need to be well thought out. Similarly, we need to individually take responsibility for our own country. We can't allow this external "intelligence" gathering to destroy the very things we are fighting for, and that appears to be happening. We need to be the intelligence.

They only came over to bait us into fighting them on their terms. If we pull out will they plot to bait us again? Maybe, but there's no way of saying for sure one way or another. Now that we're paying attention, in all likelyhood they won't be able to make any moves inside our boarders. In fact we have stopped minor plots from being carried out just by being more aware. Had nothing to with how many troops were in Iraq.

The one your heads buried under... Where have you been? There are plently of military leaders who've spoke out in opposition to the war and they all got asked to resign. As long as the terrorists have a just cause to attack us, there will be an endless supply of them. We can and will be fighting them indefinitely, or until we fall as a nation. Attacking the problem at its root requires us to start respecting international sovereignty. Pull our military out of places it doesn't belong, cease funding Israel and the Arab states both, stop interfering in local politics where our presence is clearly not appreciated.

We still have troops in 150 countries, including Germany, and Japan. Why? Because we are so kind? We never left any country completely. China is now our banker, we buy billions worth of goods from her every day, and they loan the money back to us with interest. They have enough of our money to buy our entire stock market 3 times over. Then we subsidize their businesses with taxpayer money to get them to buy our stuff! WE NEED A NEW FOREIGN POLICY!

Banks selling out to other countries. When a crooked company is in trouble financially or in debt, they allways look for a way to be bailed out. As we can see, they banks are selling out their assets to other countries. This means that someday they will come in and claim it when we are broke. Our fucking government needs to stop spending money like a wild horror in the streets and get their shit together. Their eyes are so brown, they can't even see the shit in front of them.

I agree but only to a point. Our fear of Islamofascism is what is terrorizing us. The GDP of Iraq was less than Idaho. They did not come here to conquer us, only to get us the hell off their holy land. Terrorism to the US is like a diaper rash to a baby, we need to change our stinky foreign policy instead of just dumping powder on it.

Isreal is the most powerful nation in the Middle East by ten times. They don't need us there, but we can stay being their allies. We can buy oil from Saudi, Iran, and Iraq just like every other country in the world does. Just because we remove our army, does not mean remove our need for oil. Peace, and trade will be the best foreign policy we ever had. It is called armed neutrality. Apologize? No, but give respect, yes.

Our legislature at this moment is passing the largest tax bill in our history despite the outcry of the citizens they were elected to represent. We need to realize that Ron Paul is the only candidate that gives a chance at getting that power back. I don't agree with EVERYTHING he stands for. However, He is the ONLY candidate with an honest track record.

Paul's campaign by spouting nonsense like corporate/Zionist right wing. With the exception of the war issue, Ron Paul is very right wing. Learn about Libertarians.
