  • one of the best tunes ever, goosebumps...

  • All cat owners shed a tear for their pet... Bonus points if it is in a specific color.

    Best regards,

    sys

  • kasey yesak[ yesa/hey silent k,,,,,,, what draculas favorite card? the alu card in hawaiin alu means throw up bluah

  • team payback we rule this game

  • still one of my favorite games. great gam, brings back the good memories.

  • i beat this game with brother after 20-30 trys or so it so sweet and perfect good for oldschool holy cigaro

  • Superb game and music! Nice one!

  • Today's games aren't as good because they don't force you to use your imagination. No thought is involved with most of today's games - It's just kill, kill, kill.

  • @MrMetalCookie i disagree. there are a lot of outstanding games nowadays much better than anything in the past. You cant find anything from the c64 era near the class of.. for example, RE4.

    Thats just my opinion!

  • ahh Martin Galway, these guys got me into producing music back in the day :)

  • I borrowed your video to make that one I put as answer

  • SON OF A BITCH C64 ruleZZ

  • I remember playing this with my brothers during holidays, all through the night. I guess I'm still trying to find a co-op multi-player game to match the allure this title has. Fricking best childhood memories.

  • Whatever happened to Martin Galway!?!

  • @Oxy151268 he's still making music and software, his company is called "Certain Affinity"

  • @Oxy151268 he's on facebook!

  • possibly the first true multi player game that worked, classic!

  • Oh, there's a remake of this if you google it. It looks REEEEALY good.

  • This sound is fucking awesome! Best sound ever (after Out Run ;))

  • turbo outrun you mean by JT/MON? ;-) not the **** original version. Although green beret / rambo / game over / combat school etc etc. TOO many to mention kicked it as well. Reyn's cover of galways stuff is nice if you ain't check his cover of wizball

  • Wizball is awesome Out Run so so. In my opinion The Last Ninja 1 & 2 is the best music ever created in the gaming history to date.

  • O.k., once and for all: Out Run > Everything! But I admit, Wizball, Last Ninja 1 & 2 and Hundreds of other Sids are great too! Compared to todays music: was there a single C64 sound, which wasn't good? ;) Honestly: I played 100s of Games since the early 80s: 100s of PC Games and I can not recall a single "soundtrack" (except Ultima Online). But let me listen to one C64-Sound and I give you the name of the game. C64/Amiga -> greatest time of my life!

  • Those were the days when game creators made games which was creative and original, enuff said!!

  • Agree with you also. Todays machines are only a billion times more capable than a C64 and only very few games now days realy grabbed me like Wizball. I started my gaming in 1977 with a Atari2600 and went on from there. The C64 realy shined with some very creative writers. Lets not also forget this game is less than 64kb big. For me thats mind blowing to produce quality like this on such little ram. Well done to Jon Hare and Chris Yates the creators.

  • @kermit30au

Don't leave out Martin Galway for the amazing music!

  • Wizball is an amazing piece of art. And the music is... there´s no words, it´s better just listen.

  • Agree with you....

  • This game took the C64 to a new level. The grafix and sounds seemed from something more powerfull than a C64 machine. Also did anyone notice that the weapon selections and cauldrons at the bottom where outside the normal view area of the C64 grafix range? They did their homework on this game and took no short cuts. I finnished it many times and love the end music. Good thing I have my old brown C64 and the game on 5 1/4 floopy with a 1541 drive. Great post! thank you...

  • new level? sensi soft were always on point and brought new things to the table.. they never made duff games.. the pc remake of this is nice also... although the other versions of WB couldn't match the c64 one =).. sometimes the original is the best...

  • cry me a river........

  • a tear is coming down, hours against a tv playin this mad game..

  • Aw man, that brought back memories. I remember firing up that game just to hear the theme song.

But where's the rest of it? :)

  • let's rock.

  • One of the most perfect C64 SIDs ever made....and a superb game to boot. Brilliant.

  • yeah c64 music has become a cultural standard,

but was this not Jon Hare and Chris Yates?

Wizball was the first game that I was attacted and addicted to as a child.

upgrades, skill, .. lol it didnt register with me that it was a green ball!!!

  • Jon Hare and Chris Yates wrote the game, Martin Galway wrote the music.

  • Martin Galway ! Thx. :-)

  • You gotta love the C64s music.

  • Was almost expecting the music to breakout into the Brookside theme tune for a minute!

  • Respect - wizball is totally kick ass!

  • Snif, the first game I've ever finished.

They don't make 'em like that anymore ...

  • I totally loved the music of this, you have also some other nice C64 vids, thanks for brining back old memories :-)

I am an avid SID chip fan. Anyone who has an old C64 and wants to throw it away, please send me the sound chip lol

  • Total Classic, one of my favs back in the day!!

  • This is much faster than it plays on the original machine. Good bit of music though

  • A travesty that this didn't get a gold medal from zzap!

  • Gee, This brings back memories.. If anyone has this, the cheatmode is "wizborewiz". type that in at the starting screen. :)

  • Upload the highscore music!

  • Loved the feature that let a second player control the cat. Made for a great coop game.

  • this song was great

  • This is one of the best C-64 games ever made.

Did they make a US version? Like Delta, the Euro version is better because it used the "Border Area" for the Status icons.

  • Yes! Played this amazing Game together with my friend for many weeks. Thanks for uploading
