Is the defender case alot thicker than this case?

the case is good but after a few drops the hard cover broke off and know i am no longer buying otterboxes and know all i buy is trident

Don't buy this Commuter otterbox case. Before I bought this case I had no problems with my EVO. After purchasing this case I had my camera lens crack twice. Sprint replaced the first lens but it happened a second time. It's from the outer shell not setting in where it suppose to be and causes the camera lens to crack.

Thanks for the review ! one question tho, is the lip(side) thick enough to protect the screen when dropped?

I have a problem with the silicone becoming very loose. The thin strip at the bottom and the flap that covers the hdmi and usp will NOT STAY PUT and you constantly have to fix it and its annoying as hell. other than that i have dropped it a few times and it survived.

lmao he thinks the defender covers up with camera.....and it has no access to the kickstand cuz it has its own kick stand...come on now...why would it cover the camera ? lmfao completely would defeat the purpose.

i got the impact case, is it still good because it doesnt have a shell, my friend has it with a shell and he chucked it against the ground and it was fine

I love otterbox my iphone silicon piece broke and I sent them an email they replaced it color of my choice no questions asked I didnt even have to send back the other one plus it arrived like the next day! im putting it back on my iphone tomorrow cause it might snow so its a day I need full protection lol

I bought this case 1wk ago and I love it. I have bought body glove and two other hard cases, spent near $100 total for these other cases and all broke. This otter box case is well designed, looks great and will protect this great phone. Otter box did not have these cases available when evo 4g came out, I wish they had. Dont waste your money on other cases.

does the case have a plastic covering for the camera lens...like its there on the defender or is the cutout for camera at the back..js open and with no plastic/glass...?

I'm trying a Seido on my EVO and already want to return it. I've used an Otter Box on my BB Curve for over 2 years and the phone still looks new. I think I will get another Otter Box for the EVO.
