  • Love the Dubliners, but I believe the Salty Dogs do a better version

  • cant wait to see them live in plymouth march 2012

  • @mastertechnician1 I wish they'd come to America, that is, assuming you're speaking of Plymouth, England; not Plymouth, Mass.

  • Anyone knows what Tin Whistle John Sheahan is using? Thanks

  • R.I.P Ronnie and like if you are proud of being Irish blooded !

  • when ur out a disco and they play this song it brings the whole place together an everyone gets in 2 it an just goes mad it the best crack ever

  • @bellaloves1D Must be nice to live where this is played at discos instead of only at St. Patrick's Day ceilidhs and Irish concerts and suchlike. (I live in America and I've seen people dance to this exactly once. St. Patrick's Day, 2007. It was pretty memorable. ^_^ And it definitely brought the whole room together. Including those of us who just sang along, like me. ^__^)

Merry Irish Christmas, everyone! ^__^ (posting at around 6 A.M. on December 25th ^_^)

  • My dad used to sing this song to me at night before I went to bed when I was like 2. I don't actually remember it, but when I got older and he was singing it in the car on the way to his house, it sounded really familiar and I asked him why and he told me that he used to sing this and "Paradise City" by guns and roses every night before bed.

  • @Kerrie1216 My mum is from West Belfast, she used to do the bang same to me, except she sang this and Danny Boy to me when I was a wee nipper.

  • pure class

  • WHY does everyone want to live in Ireland it not as good as ya think!!!

Well most of the time it is !!!!!

but it rains toooo much !!!

  • gotta tell ya...for the first time in 10 YEARS, our dams are mostly full but one town near us, their dam is only 9% full so if they don't get some decent rain this summer, they'll be trucking water...for a town with a population of around 100,000 people

and that's why people (especially me) think it'd be lovely to live in Ireland

  • Its a wee bit good when they play rugby at crokers....yeeeeeehhhhhaaaaaa.

  • they say it only rains twice a week in ireland, The first time for 4 days and the second for 3 :P

  • @Classicalytrained Well then ha, flaming ha, 'cause that's the biggest joke I've ever heard...! 3 days - huh!! :-(

  • @NobleKorhedron theres only 7 days in a week 4+3 = 7 that means it doesnt stop raining... its simple math? Work it out?

  • @Classicalytrained: I thought you meant literally twice a week - it never occurred to me to add 3 + 4 and = 7!! Oooops!! *facepalm*

  • @NobleKorhedron Ahahahahaha :L Oh dear :P

  • @Classicalytrained So true

  • @Classicalytrained A man goes on holiday to Ireland. The first day it pours with rain. The second day it pours with rain. The third day it pours with rain. On the fourth day he says to a small boy 'Doesn't the weather here ever change?'. The boy replies 'I don't know - I'm only four.'

  • @Inkyminkyzizwoz yep, it even rains between the showers.

  • @Classicalytrained hahaha

  • @Classicalytrained love that!

  • @rodjames98

  • @Classicalytrained ti ta tie tie tie faith in begorah!
