  • very nice. I think I will try that. I liked the one hanging over you tv a lot. Beautiful

  • I just found your video and it's inspiring to me, as I have been looking for something to put on my bedroom wall.

  • Where did you buy your canvas? Also how much did you pay for that size canvas? Thanks!

  • @MsSunbean I purchased the from a local art store. I can't remember the exact price, but is was no more than $12.

  • I LOVE IT

  • omgshhh i was rolling when 1.56 came u wrote omg i just noticed this looks like a vigina lmaooooo that was soooo funny.. you so inspired me to do my own wall art.. im not an artist but i sure can come up with creativity.. thank you sooo muchhhh.... i subbed i just love your ideas ur amazing..

  • Art is best done by yourself :)

  • Kmart art! Booooring.

  • @kupriank find something else better to do on a Sunday. Instead of leaving rude comments get a hobby instead of rudely criticizing someone else's craft.

  • @kupriank

    Jerk.

Do you always make a habit of ruining other people's fun?

  • @kupriank - you are so rude.

  • verry pretty :)

  • I absolutely love the fabric draped above your bed. Stunning. Nice work!

  • you are sooo funny' looool....''looks like a vagina'...well it really does

  • Wow!! Very nice!!

  • she's beautiful :)

  • @fersiita00 Thank you :-D

  • You have such an amazing and creative mind to do this! I love how its so easy to make things that looks like you bought it at a store. TY so much!!

  • i love it! I have painted about 80% of the art in my home as well. I'm better with oils, when I tried acrylic it was a mess. I like th way you have choses 2 different mediums to express your work. I may experiment with that a bit this summer.

  • nice vid i have watched most of ur videos....i have 1 question....what did u paint thebrown paint on????is it foam??????im making one 4 my room

  • @ChixiePuchee thanks! It's just a plain canvas.

  • I know this video is kinda old. But the thing you painted (a little like a target) would look fantastic if you got some contrasting sticky contact paper and cut out a welcome message like "welcome home" or just "welcome" or your house/flat number and then gloss over it and hang it in an appropriate place. If I saw that driving past your house I'd be like "an artist lives there, how cool is that!" I may even stop to ask where you got that. I really like your place and your stuff xoxox

  • @missimoinsane Thanks so much for the tip!

  • Omg! I have never thought about using chalk.

Does any kind of chalk work?

Oooooo so many ideas!!! Thanks so much!

  • my guess is that artist chalk would be better because the colors are richer and there is more variety.

  • Wow! Great idea! Some of my walls have been bare for years because I'm a single parent and just don't have the money to splurge on nice art. This never occurred to me...I have shakey hands and am not a good drawer...but my son gets high kudos from his art teachers (he's in college)...girl, you have given me a plan. Thanks so much for sharing!!!!!

  • Wow! Can you make me some art for my house Lol, that seemed really easy, I like it.

  • It is super easy. Give it a try...I bet you'd surprise yourself :-)....what have you got to lose, right?

  • Wow How did I miss this one? I love it. I have a little art too. I doddle all of the time and I want to make some artwork. Very nice.

  • so cool. i've never tried artist chalk..hmmm..givin me idurrsss.. :)

  • I'm glad I came accross your videos from watching PhillyDiva.....Iloooveee this idea...i was trying to save money by not buying a headboard....but this looks very chic...thanks :D

  • no prob...if you use the idea let me know how it turns out!!

  • haha, I flash backed to high school when you said you didn't have a pencil in your apt. I guess I just assumed that all teachers had tons of pens and pencils since they are always scolding students for not having one in class..haha.

anyway, beautiful art! I would have never thought to use chalk, might just have to give it a try :]

  • lol i have a ton of mechanical pencils cause I always take them from my students lol (they play with them too much)...but I couldn't use a mechanical pencil for this.

  • Wow, 5 stars!! I've been like glued to your video's for the past couple of days, lol.

I'm glad you mentioned that part at the end about setting the chalk becuz i was going to ask if it was erasable...but what if we make errors, can the art chalk be erased in that case?

  • If you have a towel (that is dry), you should be able to go back over it. But I would suggest lightly drawing with pencil first. Glad you like my vids!! :^)

  • Wow!! that's great. you may have found me a new hobby. :)

  • Nice!

  • Cool!

  • 5 STARS***********

  • So whatchu do when alls you can make are stick figures. You makin me late for work by the way...Great vid. I'm excited for when I get my own place.

  • I know you will hook up your place supa fly! Stick figures and alllll!

  • Great Idea. I am going to try it. Have you ever tried stretching fabric across a frame or canvas?

  • thanks. No i have never tried that.

  • I loveeee the sun you have over your t.v.When ever I get to move I'm going to give this a try!Thank you for the idea. : )

  • loved it!!

  • I love this!! I'm actually not going to try to do this myself because I am so artistically-challenged, I couldn't even dioodle in class! I'm sending this vid to my sister though in hopes that she gets inspired to reproduce this (and I mean, exactly this!) and surprise me with it for Christmas!

  • love it! so creative and simple!

  • That is really nice! You're very talented.

  • very nice...I want one:)

  • Major talent. What can't you do?

  • I do the same thing. And I'm a better drawer then painter, however, if you want an painted look, I like to draw with oil pastel crayons, and once you blend it, it looks painted. It just sort of melts.
