I have friends that work @ NIH and the stories I hear are a disgrace - For those of you that have screwed up views and opinions come to the Washington, D.C. Metro area and instead of walking and around seeing the sights take a moment to talk to Federal Employees and ask them their opinion as to how the Federal Gov't is running at the moment - Do so off camera though or they won't talk to in fear of the political back lash....

What a disgraceful and distorted video! It's disgraceful to politicize Shelbie's tragic situation. It's distorted because anyone who knows what he's talking about will tell you that it is ADULT stem cells that hold the potential for medical advances and not embryonic stem cells. I guess Patrick will say anything in order to get elected.

As a medical researcher I must say that stjoes78 statement is just wrong. There is not enough research to make a meaningful statement about whether adult stem cells or embryonic stem cells will hold promise for any given disease. That is why we need research! Acting superior as if you know the answers and belittling others who disagree with you is what is really disgraceful.
