  • @keyssora cool i play a Bach tr300. Really good for 1000 $ worth like 1800

  • 

  • @Jacko643 i love playing the trumpet, if i had a soul mate it would be that -3

  • And thus, music was born

  • Man I can't believe my baby went through all that or that now I kno someone besides me has played my baby;,'.(

  • 7 dislikes? Must be the Saxophones.

  • @JazzTrumpetBlues Hey watch it my best friend plays saxophone :P

  • @JazzTrumpetBlues ya heh i give them a ribbing for not being able to do some music i made for mine.

  • Getzen is the 2nd best for trombones. They're EXACTLY the same as Edwards, except they cost about $700 less and they don't have interchangable bells. SUPER excited because I just got a tenor Getzen Custum Series 3047 AF!!! It was about $3500, but it was WAY worth it... Never tried a Getzen trumpet. Are they any good?

  • Getzen trumpets are the beastest trumpets ever. they sound really cool, and hitting the highest f where all fingers are down is awesome. thumbs up and like if you agree that trumpets rock!

  • Nice! My trumpet is made by Getzen, too :) Does anyone know what model is shown in the video?

  • @UnsignedVoid32 It looks like it might be their 390 model. Its a beginners trumpet, but it is very good. It might even stand up to some other makers intermediate trumpets, at a lesser price.

  • i want one of those old valveless straight horns.

  • @picaticatara Bugel? XD

  • @picaticatara a bugle

  • what a shitty sounding trumpet lol.. i also wonder, how many times they have to start over because of mess ups

  • I play trumpet. :) Its awesomee.

  • I play trumpet and I think this is really interesting! Trumpet is awesome! :D

  • How could you NOT like this?

  • where can i get one of these...

  • HOW THE HELL DID I FIND THIS VIDEO ??

  • amazing....

  • ماشاء الله

  • I love playing trumpet. I think this is so cool.

  • I couldn't believe that piece of brass will become a trumpet

  • @lilalten80 its a very good idea, i play acoustic and electric guitar, electric fretless bass, cello, flute, and learning trumpet. i can play most stringed stuff, some sax and clarinet, but i dont have them, just play when i have a chance

the maestro of my orchestra can play any instrument, really, any

try learning flute, the fingering of flute and sax are very very similar, flute is even easier!

3 valves makes fingering simpler, but blowing A LOT harder, cuz each position makes 5-7+ notes

  • So cool want to make a trumpet

  • Cool. I'm definitely making one when I get home.

  • 4:51

    Thats what she said XD

  • uiii getzen^^

  • lol you would think this was borin but its pretty fuckin interestin. Cool !

  • @lilalten80 you can learn to play as many instruments as you like. if you want to be really good, though, you should focus your practice on one instrument.

  • I play a trumpet and this is my second year and this kinda scares me bein a kid in all playin an instrument that been threw all that nasty stuff, lol, but i love it.

  • That test sounded like a trumpet sound off some kind of music software lol

  • @lilalten80 While learning the saxophone is more complicated than the trumpet, you may find it easier to stick to the sax. You will be getting messed up with your notes and fingerings, you get used to one, and stick with it. But if you want to, go ahead.

  • :o I play trumpet :P

  • does anyone know what brand this is? i might of just missed it but can someone tell me

  • @miniatureme95 I think a king because it looks alot like mine. No not all trumpets look the same

  • @TheGlowmeister 1 ok i dont know alot of people make trumpets that look alike 2 i know not all trumpets look the same i happen to play trumpet and have three 3 not all kings look alike not even if they are the same edition 4 and i looked at the thing and its at the getzen factory? never heard of it

  • @miniatureme95 It was filmed at the Getzen factory--they're especially known for their amazing valves.

  • I wonder how many man hours go into the making of one trumpet. In the vid, it looked like they worked pretty fast.

  • And so many people have told me: Why would that cost $3000? its a piece of metal ran through a machine. Ha they should watch this video

  • @gangstarsonny Actually, there are a lot more trumpets than just a B♭, although the B♭ is the most common. F, C, D, E♭, E, G and A trumpets are also available.

  • @Riegel25 do each trumpet sound differnt tho

  • @209raiderz uhhh it depends if you have a piccolo trumpet or something or if you have you tuning slide tuned and i think it also might if its made of certain metal im not sure about that part... but it also has to do with the mouthpiece you are using and the trumpet player ever trumpet player sounds different

  • Wow I never thought there was that much to making a trumpet. I play Bb trumpet.

  • @SchnitzelSensation The only Trumpet there is, is Bb

  • @gangstarsonny NO

    most commonly, there's F alto, G, A, Bb, C, D, E, Eb, F, and piccolo (A or Bb)

there are also bass trumpets in Bb, C, and Eb, as well as custom trumpet in every key known to mankind

  • 6 people play a string instrument

  • @TrumpetProductions i hate strings

  • it is interesting to see how the thing you play get made

  • intresting video well done

  • I just started playing the trumpet...2 years of practice jam-packed in 2 weeks...its hard as hell

  • its so shiny now i want a new one

  • I play the trumpet :d

  • i like the midi trumpet at the end.

  • @garblojones lol nice catch

  • anybody else wana go make this in ur basement?

  • now i know why i play electric guitar :D

  • INNOIKKEE 0:18

  • produeeeeeeeeiced!!!!! 0:11

  • It's not like a clarinet. If you dent it, you're screwed 600$ rather than buying a seperate piece. :)

  • -If you like trumpet music , Check GUCA Serbian trumpet competition ...

Probably one of the largest in the world , if not the largest over 100.000 people presetn at competition.

  • Love it!

  • interesting

  • how do they polish brass after soldering?

especially those tight spaces between tubings of valve cylinders? that's what I want to see.

  • @simhopp

After soldering, cleaning and buffing, the horn goes into a machine that is full of tiny particles of (most common) fruit seeds. These tiny grains polish the brass until it comes to an incredible shine (several hours later). Then, the horn is often lacquered to preserve this look and protect the brass from tarnish or it is silver plated.

  • I don't see how you could dislike this video. There isn't anything to dislike that makes no sense at all...

  • Wow screw this some mexican swine flu guy will blow in it to test it, then i buy it and get sick!? FUCK THAT!

  • 0:38 'Trumpet's are made from sheets of metal, most often brass'

All trumpets are made out of brass.... (Excluding specialty bells and leadpipes)

4:57 They didn't even record here, you are a hearing synthesized instrument.

  • haha i learned how to bend metal in this video

  • 3:31-3:45 it looks like the main body of a trombone

  • @edmario2442 It looks nothing like a trombone, it is way to small.

  • its kinda like making a trombone

  • who cares?

  • @1302jm i do

  • "This ia a company that likes to blow its own horn" - bad way to conclude this video...

  • I play trumpet at school

  • thats a c trumpet

  • I didn't know that this was how they were made at all. I play trumpet and this is really awesome. I thought when he wa hammering the bell out, there is no way my twenty-five hundred dollar trumpet was ever that ugly.

  • @bigsolidkid i know right?

  • i like this video very well explained and intresting

  • haha, blow its own horn, eww

  • woow its so weird to think that my trumpet was once a flimsy looking cutout from a sheet of brass xD

  • I also play the trumpet! I play it for my Couch!

  • the trompet

  • you do not know how to make trumpets LIKE MAPLEMISSILES!!! this doesnt include DA LAZAH CANNON!

  • Noob Canon?

  • WHERE DO YOU ADD THE LAZOR CANNON?!?

  • @asasinsonic It's a step of finishing they don't show the general public..

  • Yo I need help i play trumpet I play really good but have one problem I PLAY TO LOUD does anyone know any hints to help me out thanks alot

  • @IDanceInTheSky you can have a tighter embouchure and give less air.

  • @IDanceInTheSky hey man , i play the trumpet too, when u play try not playing so harshly into your trumpet, hold back some air

and if u really cant get a mute (:

  • I've been playing trumpet for seven years. I can't imagine having had to teach myself. Good luck with your trumpet playing! I sounded like crap in the beginning but I didn't give up and now I don't think I'll ever stop playing.

  • I was given a slightly beat-up trumpet recently and have been having a great time teaching myself to play. When I recently set out to buy a better one I decided that I would try to get a really good used one and found that the surprisingly expensive used student model didn't sound anywhere as good as the one I had! This is a fascinating video which explains to me why one day, I'll feel no guilt in buying such an expensive instrument.

  • listen LA MAGIA DEL SAX by Minicillo

  • i play trumpet :) i love it

  • Very cool vid. It's interesting to see how a trumpet is made.

  • if you just say crap crap crap in front of a mirror you'll find more accurate results there.

  • your mum?

  • wow that comment u made is so bad i need to tell u how noobish it makes u look

  • MSax, I've never played a yanagisowa saxophone but I'm sure it's a very fine instrument and well worth the money. Frankly my Selmer is a better horn than I am a musician.

  • I think Haydns Trumpet Concerto in Eb was the first piece written for a valved trumpet. I see now why a top quality instrument costs so much. I have a Selmer Mk 6 tenor saxophone that I paid $800.00 for 20 years ago. I'd hate to try and buy one today. Incidentally mine was used when i bought it and I spent another $400.00 or so having it refurbished. This was back when I couldn't really afford it and a very good artisan had mercy when he charged me.

  • I have a Yanagisawa 880 tenor sax. I bought it also some 20 years ago for 1300 euros (brand new, taking advantage of a special offer). I spent another 300 euros five years ago to have it fully readjusted. Before repairing it, the guy offered me 2100 euros. I think this kind of instrument are precision machines. I love my Yangisawa.

  • @SpeedyNeutrino43 No, it was written for a KEYED trumpet, not vales. The keys were very like those on a saxophone! There is an example of a keyed trumpeter playing the Haydn Concerto on Youtube

  • i have the same one in the star as a rental cool

  • I really need to improve my trumpet skills...

  • custom xeno? you mean the YTR8335LA?

  • my looks even better :p

  • Oh my GOD its GORGOUSE!

  • how are the valves made, that's important as well.

  • I'm sticking to my conn vocabell 40A, King Liberty, Olds Mendez, and my collection of over 55 vintage horns. Pretty cool video though.

  • "This is one company that likes to play its own horn."

    . . . uhuh. . .

    ;D

  • How cornet, I mean corny.

  • making a trumpet looks so cool! Im a girl trumpeter and we have 6 girl trumpets and 6 boy trumpet...other than trumpets, there are alot of girls in my band , most of them are clarinets and flutes and some are saxophones....next year ill be a Georgia Bridgemen in high school. There are over 385 people in that band.

  • there is 6 trumpets and me the 1st yay

  • you should practice trumpet less and grammar more big boy

  • 28 trumpets including me. i dont have a chair, we haven't had any chair tests!

  • I'm a girl trumpeteer and there are lots of girl trumpets this year.

  • Im the only girl in my band

  • lol that stinks

  • im the only girl in the school

  • Im the only girl trumpet out of 24 in my band lol

  • There are 13 trumpets including me in my band

  • i'm the only girl trumpeter of 5 in my band

  • i never though it would take that much work to make a trumpet.

    its pretty intersting

  • yeah, getzen makes amazing brass instruments

  • 10 trumpets in my band, 4th chair, other 6 can't reach to a g where the top 4 can atleast reach the one above high d, 7th grade band

  • im a 2nd chair trumpet

  • how many trumpets in ur band?

  • 7 trumpets
