For home, recording and small gigs cannot be beat for its portability and sound

i´m thinking about buying a new amp.

but i can´t decide between the marshall mg 10 and the vox pathfinder 10... i need help from someone who has experience with one or even both of them!

the vox gives u a more metalic overdrive (it's perfect for punk or hardcore) but all the equalization is general for both clean and overdrive channel.

Meanwhile the marshall mg series has a more traditional overdrive and two equalization channels, clean and overdrive (even you have effects)

PS: I have both pathfinder and mg amps (the first 10 watts, the second 30 watts)

They could be made by any other company (including Vox or friggin' Buggati for all I care) and I still wouldn't call it a proper guitar amp.

@imixers now explain me why, it has the exactly same functions: gain, channel switch, EQ, volume and the headphone out. it even got a cd/mp3 input. and it has the nice marshall sound. they both have the same size of speaker, you just say it cause you own this one.

As happened with marshalls (today there are some mg15 silver like the 87 silv jubilee) and many others.
