In our univers all object or mass are visible in 3 dimensions corner (XYZ).

4D physicaly dosn't existe. but if you refer to Albert Instein theories you can a 4th dimension which is "Time" axis.

I hope I'm right (look for more information in wikipedia).

C4D's hair mod is one of the better one's on the market, ugly as it may be. Try using the Hair mod in 3d max, CRASH!!!!

The hair's are depending the dynamic laws as reality. They follows the object movements.

Yeah, you can fully control the growth density of the hair. You can also use textures to control almost every aspect of the heir, like growth density, color, curlyness etc.

start with Rhino, it's mostly for architects but user friendly, super easy to learn, & you'll pick up on the universal truths of 3D such as splines, nodes, lighting, rendering, nurbs etc. etc. If what I said is confusing u already then C4D is outta your league at the moment. I tried learning both at the same time & Rhino really helped me out a lot.
