Hi Bazilikum, I don't think that lives any Jews in Saqez. But still their is a area called by Jews name such as "garaki jolkekan" of "Kolani Mosaikan" and a lot of memories from past, Jwes artist(Mirake) and story about Saqezian Jews.
Hello, I am a woman from USA and my dream has always been to see the Zagros. Finally, my dream is coming true and I am going to Saqqez in a few months. I am so excited! I have been to Jordan, Palestine (WB & Gaza), Egypt, KSA & Bahrain...so I am really looking foreward to this wonderful opportunity!
I'm from Tehran, but I have been to Sanandaj and we have lots of Friends in Kordestan. You will not find people more hospitable than the Kords in Iran. Good bless you all and I wish you all the best wherever you are. I love Kordestan and I really miss having a holiday there.
