  • I caught a 4 pounder today in a creek with shrimp.

  • here in ny state 6lbs is not very common might get one in a life time

  • nice vid . my best is 4 and half and a small mouth about the same almost 5 he was way stronger and jump a few times .

I was in a row boat at the lake and my cousin got a 7 lb large mouth hooked I was sure he got snagged that fish got mounted but we never keep them so I dont feel bad . just got a 34 in bluefish in long island yesterday so hope your lucks as good as mine . KEEP IT CLEAN

  • Sounds like you are having a great season. Keep the lines in the water!

thats how big i was when i was born

  • nice fish was that ur personal best?

mines only 3.5 but urs was huge

  • Thanks for the post!

  • That's a great looking fish. I love how much darker in coloration the Florida Largemouth Bass look compared to our Northern Largemouths. Of course you guys get them a whole lot bigger down there too :( Great video! 5 stars.

  • Nice one!!

  • iv been fishing all my life i gotta say heavy line is overated. i love all fishing bass fishing included but here in california our ocean fishing is great i use 20 lb line on albacore, yellowfin tuna and whatever else and its impossible almost to break a little 5 to 10 pound largemouth bass will only break you off if he wraps you up in some rocks

  • catch and release largemouth bass!!!

  • Yes, 20lb line should work. 5lbs is a huge, good luck on the second catch.

  • i caught a 5lb. largemouth and put it in my pond every time i hook him he takes off really fast and breaks my line i have 14 lb. test line i might have to use 20lb.

  • That is a really nice largemouth right there. You know all of the larger ones like that, that I've seen caught, have been caught on a green colored shallow running bait like that. Usually Rat-L-Traps, it's weird. Anyways, great video, nice boat you have also!5 stars

  • I guess bass can see green well. I bought this lure on sale one day and caught a bass on the first cast. Ever since then it's been my go to bait when the fish get lock jaw.

  • OH YEAH!....thats a hugh largemouth alright, 6lb plus, way to go dude! for some people thats a once in a lifetime catch. but this dude probably lands one every year. EXCELLENT VIDEO!!

  • Thanks for the post!

  • hey thanks and i love ur vids

  • hey wat kinda boat is that

  • 2005 G3 Eagle 165 bass boat. Thanks for the post.

  • hey nice fish i just want to say good job on the cath and release i caught a 8 pound 11 oz bass and it was a catch and realese also nice work

  • I agree catch and release is the only way to go. Thanks for the response.

  • Crazy, that was a dandy. Good job! Winkiedoodles

  • the biggest bass are caught on top water in the morning, but ive been using these zoom plastic frogs latly and killing them. a 6 1/2 is a good fish in anyones book!

  • I will try a buzz frog on my next trip. Thanks for the tip.

  • Nice fish mate! Well made vid too. Thanks.

  • your point being?? the guy is having fun and caught a nice bass. Let him be man. If you dont like it. then dont watch it. I dont get some of you guys sometimes.

  • Okay, to be this happy over a 6.7 pound bass is a little odd. I have had days with 4 fish over 6 lbs. and many the same day over 4lbs. and fishing on heavy fished california lakes. Get in the over 10 lb. range or over and happy might be a state to be in.

  • i love those shallow water cranks, i use Bomber's

  • I will have to try that lure lol.
