Both versions are great...!! i listened to No Doubts first, but then when i heard the original i liked it more... normally i don't like 2 versions of a song i laready like, but in this case it was different i don't know why..

When I listened to the remake I always felt that Gwen sang the song at the same tempo as the original. In doing this did you have to alter the pitch on either to make them match?

Its "No Doubt" that "Talk Talk" wins this as the best mix, they are the original players of the song and the first cut is the deepest ... the 80's was "My Life"

Usually the covers of great '80 tunes get them worse... this is no exception: the bass line on the fourth measure of the chorus introduces a useless variation and the voice is much less intense and original than Hollis'. Great tune, useless cover.

Oddly, some people say the same thing about the No Doubt singing! The idea of the mix is to have one singing in the left speaker and the other through the right speaker!
