Aye you're right. I'd never heard that version before but it does sound similar. I brought it up on u tube and it is obviously an Irish rebel song. Killiecrankie is in Scotland so no political comment was intended.

Oh, yes, it has to be all about the music. It's very interesting to see how these tunes are used and re-used.
