@emcce69 okay I gotta admit that's kinda funny but way off base. If you use logic you will find that everything the Bible says it true. All the evidence points to God. I don't just blindly accept my faith, I've asked myself and others the hard questions. By saying that God condemns people to Hell for fun would mean that he only loves some of us, which is not true because if you read the bible, He loves all of us. So by saying he plays with us would change christianty as a whole. Christianity is about how much you love God not whether or not you go to hell. Sorry for it being long, but its all things I had to say to further back up my statements, but I would like to know your argument for what I had to say.
And why is that? because it was our freewill to commit these sins and infect others with evil. Also what your doing is kind of contradictory because what your basically saying is dont listen to religion, listen to science and intellect. Which isnt that what christians try to do to? Try and convert you to a religion?
All these bad things happen because we affect each other with lies, lust, etc.. This is why Jesus will come again because there is so much bad in this world today, sickenesses are spreading, weather killing people, unnecessary wars, etc.. All because of little sins of the past that grew into what today is.
Why we? because humanity is just one whole, we are one, we are all equal to each other. Also, how come you dont mention devils? and our flesh? If you once believed in God, you should believe in the devil as well

Well that answer is simple. Without opposing viewpoints how can anyone expect to further their knowledge about anything.
If nobody opposed the Geocentric view, then we would still think of ourselves as the center of the universe. If nobody opposed the idea of evil demons, we would have never experienced the germ theory.
I hope that even though my views are different than yours, you can realize that there is something to learn from opposing views, and welcome them openly like I do instead of resorting to ad hominem attacks on my intellect.
If you truly think that I am wrong, please do not hesitate to put forward a counter argument so we can have an intellectual discussion, instead of merely asserting that you are right.

There's a logical flaw in your second claim. Changing one's mind doesn't necessarily imply error. For instance, suppose a god who, for some odd reason, favorably looks upon supplication and such. It's conceivable that he's envisioned two alternatives: let said person continue to suffer, or quell said suffering provided a sufficient degree supplication has been tendered. So, he's content to allow something to happen, but is amenable to altering it given some preset conditions.
Prayer is inherently selfish. If a theist prays for a "blessing" over their food, you only have to ask why they don't instead pray for that food to be magically transported to a starving, third-world family who would die without it. Also, even if they did, why do they expect their god to listen? People claim to be unworthy of god, yet expect, or hope that he will honour their requests. Besides, what is a "blessing" to be interpreted as? I'll bless my food tonight and see if it tastes any better.
Just remember one thing, God created man to be fallible and then he punishes him for it. Religion is cruel, manipulative and a hoax. It so refreshing to see someone as young as you with that can see through the bullshit.
