  • Not as far as I know - I think it's only meant be a water fountain.  But hey, maybe for special occasions they do have fire shooting out :o

  • Yes, they do have fire coming out sometimes. They don't do it all the time. Normally when some big shot is coming or it's on TV or something. The torches are all around the fountain and up high in fron of the hotel as well.

  • Before the palm started to be built you could have a great view of the Burj form my hotel, The Le meridien mina seyahi beach resort and marine. But now the westin is in the way aswell!!! Dubai is getting to big.
