I first visited Muree in 2009 when i came to Pakistan for the first time. I am British and have been to many European countries except Switzerland. I found that Pakistan has it's own little Switzerland!! The landscape and the scenery was stunning. Even the roads made me feel like i was driving through Europe!! The best of all though was the hospitality of the Pakistani people. Thanks so much to all the wonderful friends i made in Pakistan, and i will see you all again soon.

I wouldn't call Murree North Pakistan, its still part of Punjab province.
North Pakistan is Chitral, NWFP, and Northern Areas like Gilgit and areas bordering China. Still Murree is beautiful and you're right many areas in Pakistan are so beautiful too bad the image the western media gives us doesn't help Pakistan's tourism.
was in muree on may 17-20ish 2007...and mashallah its def one of the most beautiful n heavenly points in the world..and the chair lifts they have put in murree that go on for 10-15mins were a blast!!! ..wont ever forget those 3 days spent in murree!

Love it. I went to Murree last year when I was in Pak for 3 months and I loved it. Murree was pretty busy cuz it was also August 14. Even though the chairlifts were not available @ that time, the trip was still fun.
