Drift cutters are nice. I spent the big bucks and bought the Ariens factory ones for mine. Well, they are the new style and don't fit perfect, but the nice thing is mine came with big plastic knobs so I can take them on and off without tools. I only need them once in a while and when I leave them on I'm always afraid I'll bump a car or the house with them, lol.

Wingnuts would work too, tho.

It'd be cooler if you mounted old chainsaw bars on there and powered them off the auger. ;)

Exxxxactly what I was looking for....and I have leftovers of these in the garage...Thanks for sharing the idea. I own a MTD Yard Machines 28in.It is identical to the Craftman except I have a Briggs engine. They're both made by MTD and beware of the newer models; they put crappy chinese engines on them (POWERMORE)

I found it online and thought I would share it with you these engines aren't as bad as you think I have on and I love it, I never get a hick-up or a burp from it even when under the heaviest loads that SOB just keeps going and with all the snow that we just got I put that thing threw Hell and back.

Nice Job,I did the same thing to my snow blower about a couple of years ago.I didn't use the same kind of material,mine is flat but still works the same way .Great video.5*****
