I have to agree with the video. No one has been able to come close to duplicating the "costume" seen the the Patterson/Gimlin film. Even John Chambers said he had nothing that could duplicate it in the late 60's, & I doubt even now. Muscle moving under a costume in 1967 wasn't possible. And look at the arm swing & gait compared to the BBC supposed recreation. Not even close.
PS - Why is it so hard for people to believe? We often discover new species & there are certainly many yet to be documented. I find the existance of this creature believable. Not surprising either. For example, imagine discovering an Elephant for the first time & the reaction people would have had. Now it's so commonly known to us that some may be "bored" with it's image. Viewed by scientists/animal experts it was clearly proven; this was not a person in a costume; a "bigfoot suit", no matter how detailed, would not reveal muscle movement under the skin as this footage shows. You are correct. It hasn't been 'proven' genuine. However scientific analysis has shown that it is very very unlikely to be a hoax. All attempts to analyse the footage end up supporting the authenticity of the claim.

They always used longhaired suits for apes/BF back then, which was the only practical way they could do it. I had dinner with Bigfoot almost 10 years ago while camping in Yosemite National Park. He came into my camp some what board and lonely. So we fixed up some good food. Afterwards we enjoyed playing video games and watched a few movies. All in all, I have to say Bigfoot was a pretty mellowed out dude; but he also seemed to be the kind of person you don't fk with when he gets pissed.

Crop circles, the bermuda triangle, saucer abductions, the loch ness monster photos--one by one over the years they have all been debunked. The video is bad--it is impossible to EVER disprove it.. ALL evidence is only that left behind like crop circles landing tracks or footprints--they are all over the place--but nothing ever found except that which could be created and left to be discovered. You have to interpolate between the lines--if its too good to be true------ it probobly is..

With plenty of data, this can not be faked, and if faked, is from one or a few individuals who have the energy, time, money, patience, knowledge, intelligence, and skill.These individual hoaxers either pass their information on to each generation or are eternally young.

Dont look at the salt and pepper--stand back and get a feel for the taste of the soup. He went there because of tracks that were admitted faked by the guy in old age. It's more sad actually, so gullibly to believe it could be faked. This was '67 & crap f/x times, they had little idea what a BF was anyway, how its anatomy looked or walked. Add boobs and looking at the camera.

Also the person in the suit doing the detector test came forward LONG ago--and only recently expanded on it with the test and hes quite convincing, I would ask you--PROVE THAT HE FAKED THE TEST AND HIS DEMEANOR. If a person claims abduction by a saucer--the weight falls upon them not to just say "prove it didnt happen". The suit--the walk--everything IS WELL WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF FAKEABILITY.. and so likely is...+so many confessors??

Wikipedia has it well covered and its clear the suit was a fake and who made it and it was modified. It was expensive. The suit maker phillip morris even describes the walk--because they were experts at performing in various suits and the walk has to be done flat footed because of the big feet. The person in the suit is a 26 year old athlete who was first to confess. MANY people have confessed. Add to it that in interviews everyone described RP as a liar, con man, showboater and worse...

I have to agree with the video. No one has been able to come close to duplicating the "costume" seen the the Patterson/Gimlin film. Even John Chambers said he had nothing that could duplicate it in the late 60's, & I doubt even now. Muscle moving under a costume in 1967 wasn't possible. And look at the arm swing & gait compared to the BBC supposed recreation. Not even close.

PS - Why is it so hard for people to believe? We often discover new species & there are certainly many yet to be documented. I find the existance of this creature believable. Not surprising either. For example, imagine discovering an Elephant for the first time & the reaction people would have had. Now it's so commonly known to us that some may be "bored" with it's image. This creature will one day be known to man, & we'll "get over it" until the next new find. Meh. Cool, though =)

I wish I could quote the source of information I'm referring to so all who read this comment could also view it. I saw a documentary which explains the proof of this footage being of a real creature. Viewed by scientists/animal experts it was clearly proven; this was not a person in a costume; a "bigfoot suit", no matter how detailed, would not reveal muscle movement under the skin as this footage shows. Also, the open mouth & "whites" of the eyes could be seen; not possible behind a mask. Yay!

You are correct. It hasn't been 'proven' genuine. However scientific analysis has shown that it is very very unlikely to be a hoax. All attempts to analyse the footage end up supporting the authenticity of the claim.
In shorty though the footage is not proven to be real the facts suggest that it is.

There has been nobody walking the same as this footage. I saw the same programme but the guy failed to do the same walk.
The creature in this footage walks with a bent legged gait and doesn't straighten the legs or lock the knees.
NOBODY has proved this footage is faked.
