yeah its linked to the microfone stand, very impresive trick! The fire in the end adds excitement and breaks the thread to release the connection with kevin :) Its a very impresive flawless routine!

Notice that he carries out the microphone stand, there is invisible thread (avalible on ebay amazon ect.), going from the microphone stadd to his ear (healed there by clay or wax) there is a piece tied on to that forming a T with a long top. Also notice that he moves his fingers around the rose before it floats. he puts the red rose in his hand secretly while you are distracted by the tissue rose and the lighter the tissue rose is made of flash paper so it will make a large flash to distract you

@MalieSprinkle Even though this was performed by Copperfield over 2 decades ago? I mean, I get it if that's true; kinda like a songwriter writing for a pop star. If the songwriter decided to perform that song as her own, especially years later, it would be challenging for the audience to be 100% with the writer. Maybe I'm out of the loop, but Kevin James seems fairly new. If he DID help design illusions for David Copperfield, that's impressive; but he lacks in intrigue, comparatively speaking.

@ferinate101 he attached a very thin string to him and that little girl. the string is going out of his chest to her chest trough the paper. if you pay attention you will notice that paper doesen't go up or down, left or right. only his hands do.
